When visiting Morgan Creek Park, I exclusively visit the Arboretum side of the park; accessible from the East Worcester Rd entrance. I value this park so highly for the peaceful respite in a beautiful wooded area. Birds, glorious open sky, trees of all types. In spring, the crab apple blossoms are spectacular. Lilacs in May. A butterfly garden with benches is a delight in summer. I hold this in my memory with joy for revisiting during the winter months. The walking trails are carefully tended. The park has recently expanded into another area that i choose not to frequent very often, but I understand what a valuable asset it is to this area. It contains some nice picnic grounds and a children's playground which seems very popular. I'm here for nature experience, the flowers when available, and the quiet. So I stick to the Arboretum side.
There is only one critical observation I have of this park. It has a vast open area in the center of the Arboretum that is scrupulously mowed in summer. I find it a lost opportunity for a reclaimed natural meadow as well as a heart sinking use of petrol. Maybe this is part of the future plan and fund raising. Further, I was sadly disappointed this last summer when the rain swail/garden was mowed to the ground. Defeating the purpose of Ground water run off control.

I stayed at a nearby hotel and needed a place to run in the morning, so I chose this park. It was cold and dark. Ran about 3 miles and saw 2 rabbits, a small herd of deer (twice), a hawk and 2 shooting stars. The trails were perfect and pretty flat. I’d highly recommend.

This is the best futuristic kids park I have ever been to. If a kid would fall down the ground was cushioned rubber. The structures were also good for special needs persons to explore.

Great spot to take the kids or Grand children to for a few hours. A wonderful playground that is handicap accessible

I'm camping here while on my cross country walk and decided to walk the trails. Definitely glad that I did. The pictures and videos don't do it justice. The arboretum was absolutely stunning. So many beautiful trees await your eyes to bask in their glory! Unfortunately, most weren't hadn't flowered yet nor were any fruit bearing, but they were beautiful nonetheless. Birds, insects were everywhere....some beautiful, some, not so much...sorry, not sorry you big, gigantic biting flies!

This park is the best! The playground is amazing. Their facilities are new, nice, and well maintained. The trails are extensive and parking is plentiful. What more do you need?

Great park, lots of stuff for kids to do. Very clean well kept equipment. Was a little difficult to find even with gps but there are a lot signs up along the main roads to help navigate.

Wow! Wonderful camping experience. Small, quiet place/no carts zooming around. First come, first serve with a limited two week stay. No residents. You choose your own site and self pay at the pay station. There is a host, but never saw them in park, just on their patio. Very well maintained and manicured surroundings. Loved the trails that wind through the property! Clean facilities, power and water, no sewer, but dump on site. Sites are large and spread out, mostly level with gravel/pebble pads, had fire ring, trees near, but not on top of your vehicles and picnic tables. Conveniently located on the edge of town with easy access in and out of park. We stayed for a week in a 35' fifth wheel. There was plenty of room for the truck too. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! Wish more parks were like this one.

Great park! They really did a great job on this park, Ziplines, climbing structure and space themed slides. My kids had a blast! They have restrooms and shaded picnic areas with a nice trail to go on too. Highly recommend checking this out with your kiddos.

Even though alot of trees are down most of the trail system is hikeable. Just stay off where they are working and you will be fine. Royal Lilac even still has some blooms as of today!

This is a great park for all! Although, it did make me a little sad to watch the older kids disrespecting the equipment. There's only one handicap zipline chair, please don't destroy it just because you can.

Bonuses of the park are family friendly bathrooms, bottle refill station at the drinking fountains, and a bike repair station. I do wish there was a bit more shade for the adults while watching the kiddos.
