I've been a customer for Bonito Michoacan 2 since they first opened many years ago. I moved out of Channelview a few years back and I still come and get my barbacoa and menudo from there. It was quite a surprise to see the name changed but I saw that the employees are still the same staff and as friendly as ever. Hopefully it stays the same for many more years.

They open really early which helps. There serving sizes are great for the price. I ordered tacos and a burrito. The meats where tender and well seasoned with great flavor. I will be returning to this business often.

Great food good prices; what more does a person want? You could buy the meat cooked, sit &eat there or to-go. Also you could buy the meat raw it's a meat market & you better know how to speak Spanish cause I haven't encountered anyone that speaks English there yet.

Place is always clean, meat is fresh, their barbacoa is the best in houston, Not greasy its just pure meat. And taste is great. I highly recommend 👍

Awesome service specially under the stress of the hurricane you don't expect to get such great service. Every single employee at this place was assisting with a smile and patience even though all the craziness. I will most definitely be spending my money here from now on.

Always has good, hot food and the meat from the meat department is great as well. The pan dulce is good and I like how the have a variety of things to choose from.

Possibly one of my most favorite places to go,just for the fact that they bring the nostalgia of mexico back to me in almost every way possible!
and for it being located in just a small town like channelview,makes me love it even more!

This nice little hole-in-the-wall meat market is really good the meat that they serve is clean trimmed the workers are clean and constantly cleaning things also the meat prices are very fair giving that everything isn't being raised so that being said I definitely give the store five
