Took Newfoundgap Road out of Tennesee on our way to Asheville, NC, and we were so glad! Absolutely breathtaking views driving up and down a mountain. Lots of little stops and pull offs along the way, including the very cool Mingus Mill, which is a still standing old ghristmill from 1886. It's like stepping back in history with the backdrop of the smoky mountains - brilliant! We will definitely be taking this and other routes through the smoky mountains on our way home from TN in the future, over taking the boring highway just to save some time. If you have the option, do this instead, it is 100% worth your time to experience an adventure in the mountains!

The sights were beautiful and let me to you the mountains and over 7000 feet the first photo you see is 6707 tall! That is the height of the photo I took.

Very enjoyable visit into the park with my wife. We only had a few days and visited may of the popular places. Staff was very helpful and gave us many options to visit. I would visit again!.

This was very nice. The rangers were informative. The trails were well maintained and easily marked to keep you on track. Everyone in the visitor center was super nice.

Absolutely gorgeous place and a wonderful area to connect with the tranquility of nature; my only complaint is that I wish there were more dog friendly trails.

We've been to multiple locations across the park and love them all. Beautiful views, excellent hiking, plenty of wildlife and diverse plant life. Doesn't get much better than this.

Beautiful. Hiking trails, waterfalls, wonderful scenic drives, historic structures and lots of wildlife! You never know what you will see, even if it's something you have done before, and changes come with every season. Sightings of bears, elk, deer and turkeys can almost be guaranteed if you take the time to look for them. Park rangers, staff and volunteers are great and a wealth of knowledge. Just remember, the wildlife is wild. Do not try to get close to them, but watch and take pictures from a safe distance!

So many beautiful things to see at the national park. Beautiful for hiking, fishing, or just taking a long relaxing drive. Make sure you have your day planned in advance as we didn’t get service in most of the areas once we entered the park! Also hard to find bathrooms as well so be sure to plan accordingly.

Quaint museum, cozy gift shop, and helpful information desk. The star of the show is the bathroom. They rival some of the nicest public restrooms I've seen this side of the Mississippi in terms of cleanliness and the ability to efficiently support the defecation demands of America’s most visited National Park.

Sugarlands visitors center is an amazing place packed with knowledge, hiking trails, waterfalls and is even the beginning on the road to the beautiful Cade's cove. Clean restrooms drink and snack machines even plenty of helpful park rangers to answer any questions. Be sure to check out all the exhibits as many of them explain local wildlife and fauna.

This park is beautiful and there are lots of great things to see and do here. This visitor's center makes and excellent starting point. Be sure to pick up the maps of the things you want to see. They have specific maps for things like trails, historical places, and waterfalls. If you are looking for wildlife, try driving the Cades Cove Loop. If you are looking for a great waterfall without much hiking, try Mingo Falls which are near Cherokee.
