The Learning Center Charter School

My daughter has gone to the Learning Center since she was 3 years old and now is going into 7th grade. She has done well in the small school environment with individual lessons catering towards her level. The teachers challenge her thinking skills as well, which is great for her advancement.

We love the Learning Center! My son has been going here for 5 years now, and I can't imagine him in a larger environment. The teachers have time to spend with the kids, and the special programs the school puts on are simply wonderful.

My son graduated from TLC in 2017 and my daughter is set to graduate in 2020. My husband and I transferred them there 7 years ago from traditional public school. Both are AIG and were getting lost and bored in a traditional setting. My son now attends Tri-County Early College and is top of his class. Teachers care about each and every one of their students. They customize curriculum to keep it exciting, challenging and relevant. My kids were never bored. Teachers pushed both of my kids to reach their full potential. They also emphasize project-based learning allowing students to apply what they have learned to real life scenarios. Along with lots of extracurricular activities such as drama, Envirothon, and Odyssey of the Mind, this school not only provides a top-rate education but ensures that your child is prepared for life and all it has to offer. I highly recommend this school!!!!!!

TLC is innovative and offers unique programs for students. They have strong academic protocols and provide guided instruction for children who are struggling. Additionally, the focus in not only on academic growth, but includes an emphasis on the arts as well as social growth and development. It's a happy, healthy place for students to learn the value of diversity and enhance their ability to express their unique gifts and talents

This school is great the teachers are hard working. The school is trying to innovate all the technology they can amd trying to set the kids that attend ahead in life. The man named james that gave a bad review on the learning center doesnt know the entire story on the grandchild and is therefore slandering the name of the school because he read the book by the cover. The grandchild doesnt arrive at the school until dismissal. And thats because the mother of the child runs the after care program. Which is exactly what this school is trying to teach the kids not todo(judge a book by its cover). Go by and check them out and you will be impressed by the hard working staff.

The Learning Center provides a fun learning environment that focuses on a hands-on, outdoor approach to learning. The staff treats kids like individuals by providing unique activities to spark any kid's curiosity.

This school has teachers and staff who are dedicated and commited to helping each student reach their individual potential. Kind hearted and fully invested in providing a positive educational experience.

My whole family absolutely LOVES this school. One of the best features is the small class sizes and the individualized attention each child gets.

My grandchildren have attended this school and I couldn't be more pleased. I like the small school atmosphere and the attention the children are given.

This is the best and interactive school ever.

Great school...

Most of the teachers are incredible here. My kiddos have been going to school here the past few years. We are moving them out. The principal is a bully. She picks out certain kids to point fingers at and has been causing a disturbance with their work. A lot of my friends kids are having the same experience with the principal. If you are looking for a really good school to put your kids in my advice is to not pick this one. Best of luck!

This used to be a great school with half way decent teachers.
I wouldn't let these people watch my dog now.
I don't know what changed but it's not right.
Double standers for certain students and huge distractions in the class room such as teachers watching their own grandkids while teaching. If it was once or twice it wouldn't be a big deal. However 3-4 times a week is wrong and should not happen.
My child will not be going back.
Least restrictive environment is what is on the website and it's not true.
Don't make the same mistake I did.
