Absolutely one of the best sandwiches that we have had. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful! Just so nice to eat delicious food and be treated with old fashion service! Once you sit down, just don't want leave! All was tasty! Not cheap, but what is? Paying for great food and quality! Want cheap and less quality sandwiches go to Subway!

Quaint, local deli offering a selection of signature salads, overstuffed and combo sandwiches, wraps and the legend Mountain sandwich with one lb. of corn beef and one lb. of pastrami piled high on rye. Traditional decorated interior with original hardwood floors, collectibles and even an original pay phone. Even the clean bathrooms were nicely decorated. The Rueben came hot with deli fresh corned beef sliced thin and piled high, sauerkraut, Swiss and homemade Russian dressing. The rye toasted to perfection and the side of potato salad was creamy with plenty of flavor. Staff were friendly and very apologetic, as they were short staffed and the loss of my order resulted in over a hour wait. They were so overwhelmed they closed early. Take the time and support your local businesses.

Love supporting local restaurants. Friendly super service. Smiles and friendly. Carolina dog was good, all beef hotdog . Son loved the Cuban. The key lime pie was outta this world. Prices were kinda expensive but it was kinda cool inside. Fresh food. Homemade.

We ate at 230 on a Saturday. Closing time was 3 but we were never treated as if we were a burden. Waitress was friendly and very good at her job. We enjoyed the hot dog special and a lamb gyro. The side of baked potato salad was delicious, but there wasnt enough of it. Some amazing apple pie topped it off.

Server was fantastic, she made the experience. Food was fresh and tasty. Enough variety on the menu to go back several more times.

Food and services were great. If your in the area this is a great place for lunch. Owners are very friendly and take time to speak to the customers. We will be back.

Super friendly service that went above and beyond. The sandwich had a good amount of meat. I was sad that they were out of corned beef, but the staff recommended something else to replace and I was very pleased as "The Rachel" was delicious!

Great sandwiches! They do not skimp on the meat. Ordered mine to go but the place was very crowded which is always a good sign. I gobbled down the first half before thinking about a picture so here's half a sandwich :)

Really good food and very friendly folks. Had the Bulldog sandwich, grilled cheese, a chili dog and their home made key lime pie. Nice place inside, and hand sanitizer at every table!

One of my new favorite places. The waittress is cheery, informative and nice. The food is reasonably priced and oh sooo yummy. Their soups are to die for too.

How did they earn 5 Stars? They treated us like family, served great tasting food (killer pastrami on rye) and it was reasonably priced. A worthy stop anytime in or near Murphy, NC.

Over the years every time we go to Murphy we always stop here for lunch. All of their sandwiches are amazing and the service is friendly and great.

We had a delightful lunch today—- delicious Reuben sandwich and a deli chicken salad sandwich. The deli was extremely busy, but the service was efficient and done with a smile. We would certainly eat there again if we’re in the area.

We always try to eat here when we are up from Florida. I was concerned since the ownership had changed since our last visit, but the new owners did not disappoint. Very very good. I had the Rachel and split it with my mom. I added the potato salad to my order. Everything was as I remember from last year.
