Legends Steakhouse

Outstanding! Found a steak place that I will not only return to but bring family and friends when they show up to mooch of my hospitality. Party of 4 had the sirloin, a filet, pork chops, & grilled cheese. The entrees were great, the sides were fantastic, and the desserts-dynamite! Draft beer choices were good and the atmosphere very welcoming.

I’ve heard it said that out of Faith, Hope, and Love the greatest of these is love But I’m gonna have to disagree this time. Faith was our server and she did an amazing job or responding quickly, got every order right and even had desserts ready for takeout the moment we were to leave. Excellent service and staff! Thank you all.

We dined here recently for the 1st time everything was so good mouthwatering good & fresh! Our waiter Danner was very Informative as far as making suggestions and knowing the menu and was overall a very nice person! Thank you for the 5 STAR FOOD AND FIVE STAR SERVICE! We will be back and I will tell anyone who asks where is a good place to eat in Murphy to go to Legends! PS keep those egg rolls on Appetizers they are the BOMB! Be sure to try the Stuffed mushrooms!

Amazing food. The name is a bit understated. We went in with Steakhouse Mentality and were pleasantly surprised at the broad menu options. We had Chicken and Waffles and an amazing Shaved Ribeye Philly Cheese. Both were off the charts good. Awesome value too. Family owned and operated. THIS PLACE IS LEGIT !!

Great experience, nice atmosphere. Decent prices & food great! Had a broad variety in options, did not expect that for a seemingly small town. The hummus avocado & tomato appetizer was my favorite, fun combo, fresh & well served. Loaded nachos were great as well. My Carolina Sunrise burger was delicious, egg perfectly cooked. Mac and cheese was very cheesy, mashed potatoes perfect as well! Finally found a place this trip that kept them chunky with their skins. The fries were fantastic too, like huge potato wedges. My mom got the grilled cheese with bacon & my dad the classic burger. My husband had the 2 pork chops fried with mac. We had driven through Murphy years ago and I noticed it packed, didn't get a chance to stop and eat til this year! Will go back if passing through again.

I went for a late lunch today and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was the best chicken I’ve ever had. The broccoli was fried, I’ve never had it that way before and I loved it. Thank you to my waitress, kait. She was the best 🥰

We had the most amazing meal tonight. The ribeye was seasoned well and cooked perfect. The restaurant is so beautiful and has has a great atmosphere. Kait was our server and was top notch. We will definitely be back next time we are in town to play at the casino!

Ordered Philly S & C and fried chicken sandwiches. Both were very good. We'll come again.
Edit: May be the best chicken sandwich ever, and we are well traveled.

TL;DR Perfect service, tasty food and great value.

I hesitated going here for a while as the atmosphere just didn't have that top steakhouse vibe when I peeked in.

Big mistake.

Arrived early evening, well before 6. We had our pick of any seat and the bar was empty. The bar would remain that way, but the rest of the place hit 80%+ full not long after we arrived and stayed that way until we left around 6:30.

Service was outstanding from start to finish. The waitress checked on us frequently without interfering, food was delivered promptly, clearing happened seamlessly, anything that wasn't there and desired was a request away and always delivered immediately. Food was served as quickly while allowing us to pace as desired with all food at desirable temperatures. Impeccable service, even after the dinner crowd arrived.

Had an 8 oz. filet (delicious, cooked as ordered, thick, tender - distinctive flavor - perhaps due to small farm sourcing, tastes may very but I loved it), fried broccoli (my least fav, but that's probably because I ate every bite of everything else and veggies are last on my list), steak fries (large, meaty, crispy outside, cooked perfectly awesome as were the normal sized sweet potato fries), pecan crusted trout (huge portion - crispy thin crust of crushed pecans on top of perfectly cooked trout - no fishy taste or smell at all - superb!) a Bloody Mary (their own concoction with a powdered rim and lime wedge - you don't eat this one you drink it - more fresh tomato taste than any mix I've had, very nice) a specialty drink my wife loved but a sip was plenty for me... and a small (so it seemed at first) wedge of a very rich, thick, creamy-like-brie cheesecake that melted in your mouth with a few dollaps of the most wonderful whipped cream I've had in a long time. When they set it down I was disappointed. After I ate it I was in awe. And stuffed. After a few bites, I wanted to take half home but I couldn't stop eating it...

If you're looking for that power-date steakhouse experience, make the drive to the Copper Door. Expect to pay for it.

Legends is exactly the steakhouse Murphy should have exactly where it should be. I hope it never changes.

The service at Legends was outstanding as was the food and drink. The prices allow a quick return to try more of the menu.

I'll show up early, beat the crowd. Again.

Return visit. Different night, different server, ordered different food. Same result. This place is solidly on my Favorites list. Hard to beat at this price point.

FANTASTIC! I was bored and hungry so I went out solo to grab a bite and see a movie, noticed Legends is right next to The Henn Theatre...easy decision. Was immediately greeted & seated by a lovely hostess and not long after my waiter arrived and was very knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt. Ordered a Moscoto and their Not Your Grandma's Chicken & Waffles. I have had C&W from the best restaurants in Orlando all the way up here in NC, and this by far was the best of the best. Also ordered a side of their Onion Rings w/BBQ Ranch, and Ranch dipping sauce..those were amazing too and far thicker than most I've had anywhere else. My server had a unique name, Blaze, hard to forget, and he did a great job balancing checking in on me without bugging me...he knew right when to swoop in, grab empty glasses and ask what else he can do. I ordered a beer and he brought it too me 75% full and apologized that the keg just blew and they didn't have a replacement, and offered to get me another choice. I was totally cool with what he brought and told him "No worries, this is just fine." and he generously did not charge me for that beer. Couldn't ask for better service and I very highly recommend this place. Looking around, it seemed all their servers were top of their game. Go there, you won't regret it. Oh and also their prices were very fair as well.

Super delicious, friendly staff, all around great experience. Expect to pay a pretty penny, but worth it for the taste.
My husband and I each had the chopped steak with grilled onions (it was actual ground steak, NOT hamburger meat, like some places serve), with red-skin mashed potatoes (a tad bland but perfect with ranch!), and a side salad (perfect size, loaded, and delicious!) We also got the lava cake for dessert, which was HUGE and AMAZING!

Only complaint: Waiter said the tea was "very sweet" but it definitely wasn't lol. Otherwise very happy!

Had dinner here tonight, and it was outstanding! The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Our waitress Kait was very prompt and got us everything we needed and then some! Super friendly and very good at her job! We highly recommend and will be coming back!
Also, the egg rolls are to die for!! Delicious!

Our meal was OUTSTANDING! I had the chicken duo with green beans and potatoes and let me tell you I wanted to lick the plate! My husband had a steak salad and he said it was fantastic too. Our waitress spot on as well! I think her name was Isabell?? Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Great overall experience here.

We went for my birthday. The steak was delicious. The broccoli wasn't great but I went for the steak. Point on...

My husband's ribeye was exactly cooked to order, as was my grilled shrimp, and both dinners were so delicious. The side dishes were scrumptious (prepare for a lot of food!), and the apple pie a la mode topped off a perfect meal. Emily, our outstanding waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. LEGENDS is definitely the restaurant for tasty good cooking!

My family and I had lunch here few days ago and it was the best we've had in a long time. I must compliment our server Kait. She was on point with drinks and food. She kept a smile on her face, was courteous and on time while all being pretty busy.

Meals were delicious. Kaley took great care of us! Highly recommend the steak salad, and the chicken and waffles!

Day after Christmas 🎄 place was short handed. Great staff 👍 👏 working hard to accommodate everyone. Great arritudes makes it pleasant 😀 for everyone. I own several business know how hard it is to find good help lucky establishment to have these people. !!!!

Elegant atmosphere. Ribeyes seared to perfection. Crisp salads. Plentiful side dish. Awesome service Dave. Topped off with tasty Caramel Cheesecake.

I've been here a few times with the family, and every time, it has been a wonderful experience. There are very few complaints from our picky family, but they are always taken care of by the staff. Since moving to Murphy, it has become our favorite.

Food was fantastic and service was outstanding. Amber did an exceptional job of taking care of us and was very friendly. We will definitely be back when in the area.
