Truly a top tier group of folks. Had what I needed and at the price I needed it. The girls at the front were super sweet and the entire staff was very helpful and respected both my time and budget. Come see these folks for all your landscape and hardware needs!!

Just bought a new Toro Grandstand from Killians today. They have been working with us since we left our Statesville dealer last summer. I can not explain how nice and helpful everyone at Killians has been over the last seven months!! Everyone from the owners, the staff, the mechanics, and everyone in between has been five star top notch!!!!!
This is a really good business that’s owned and operated by really good people!! I highly suggest you give them a shot! Yes it’s a 30 min drive for us but they are well above worth it!!

If you ever need a mower, outdoor tools or have any questions about either Killians is the place you need to go to. The workers at Killians were amazing, so helpful and welcoming and it's doesn't hurt that they stock about every mower and outdoor tool you can think of. Peter, one of the workers there helped us find the perfect mower in our price range and was very honest and thoughtful when looking at all the other mowers with us. When we got home with the mower we had some questions about it and Peter personally came over after work to come check it out and explained everything we needed to know about it. If you wouldn't call that excellent customer service then I don't know what is!

Very helpful employees! I came in for a part to my grass trimmer. The service employee was helpful in finding my part. The part was half the cost of a new one so I decided to buy a new trimmer since my other one was old anyway. The service employee, Jordan, was very helpful and quick to get me what I needed. He didn’t try to upsell me with something I didn’t need. After I paid, they even showed me how to use the new equipment and made sure it worked before I left. They were also nice enough to bring it to my car. We are new to the area so glad we found a trustworthy, local hardware store … and not some big corporate store. Highly recommend this place. Prices are reasonable.

I LOVE this hardware store! Great inventory and super friendly! I went to get my blades sharpened on my mower, and they took it right in and sharpened them within 15 minutes. Awesome customer service. I definitely recommend this hardware store to anyone in the Hickory area.

Just bought my first Toro mower from these guys, one of the best experiences I've had purchasing anything, very knowledgeable and friendly. Derek and associate were great. They have gained a full time customer.

I first went to Killian's when we moved to Hickory 9 years ago. Bought all my lawn equipment from them and have been taking all back for service. The employees are great and are very helpful. Recommend Killian's Hardware.

Derek was extremely helpful with quick follow up communication and fair pricing on a Toro mower i bought. When i arrived at the store, everyone there was nice and helped with a fast and friendly transaction. I had traveled from an hour away and would absolutely do business with them again.

I have a 13 yr old Craftsman riding mower, I have had service done over the yrs at Killians and this time I had to have the whole entire engine replaced
Got it done quickly and gave a warranty
Here’s to hopefully another 13 years

Great store all around love the owners and staff inside! However there’s a sales manager in there who doesn’t know anything about anything and told me all he does is sale the new stuff he doesn’t know anything about them. I asked him what string he would use on this style weed eater and he couldn’t even help me. Great store all around but that toro sales manager is terrible with customer service and has a negative look and attitude. I’d look into a new sales manager or train him a little more. Other then that great experience every time!

The staff at Killians have never let me down. They go out of their way to promote my business and its needs. I went to school with these girls and they have always been friendly and courteous. I have never had better service any where else.

The gentleman in the service department was friendly, very efficient, and answered all questions I had. He looked up information about the 2 belts for my Toro mower. I had the belts in my hand in less than 10 minutes, was on my way to pay the lady at the register in the front of the store, and was out the door in less than 3 minutes. I found the lady that I paid to be very nice and to have a good sense of humor. Thanks for being there to help me when I need help.

Have shopped at Killians for over 30 years; always have what you need or direct you to where you can find it. They have a great service center and I love the pickup/return option. Definitely hometown hardware.

Bought my second lawnmower in 14 years. Had the first lawnmower for 13 years. Received excellent service both times I purchased mowers. Bought a Titan Max and it has revolutionized my life. Cut my 5 hour job down to 2 hours, and makes my grass look like carpet. Truly happy with the mower and the staff.
