Black & White Market

Black & White Market has the best selection of gifts. If I ever need a birthday, hostess, anniversary or housewarming gift, this shop is my go to place. Prices are very reasonable and the owners Keisha and Heath are the friendliest most personable folks EVER.

This shop is a must-visit stop when you’re in Murphy. Absolutely LOVE the assortment of seasonal items, as well as locally-made things such as candles, bath and body products, snacks, and much more (stickers, clothing, home items, books…).

Stopped in for a Halloween item as their store front had a LOT of fun things. Came out with a ton more than expected and I don’t regret any of it. I was blown away by the amount of unique things I found there, and was able to get a ton of gift-getting done that I wasn’t even expecting to finish so soon.

The lady, Courtney, who was working there today told me that they also do a respectably huge selection of randomly wonderful (my words, but you get it) stuff for the holiday season each year. Mentioned that they are on social media and that they have a website, so I’ll be visiting that to see what else I can snag before December.

My wife loved this store. I was ready to leave immediately but she had to look over absolutely everything in the place. So, I'm not a fan but I'm also not their demographic. Five stars from the wife.

This is also one of our favorite places to visit/shop when we are in the area! Such a lovely shop and town! So many unique and fun displays to look through. Very friendly and always helpful. We picked up several items last week and then online shopped when we got back home. Our order came a few days later and everything packaged so nicely! And Keisha included a sweet note and a couple surprises! We are moving to Murphy next year and can’t wait to be locals 🤩. You have to come by this place!

They have the cutest products in town. I visit the Black And White shop from time to time and I always find something that I like! Very kind and polite staff.

This is hands down my favorite store - we live and work in the tourist district in Blue Ridge so I get a little jaded with shopping sometimes.. but this place shakes me out of that mindset!

The pricing is affordable and the atmosphere is very inviting. I started a collection a year ago of some of the pottery sold here by a local artist and it's worth the drive up to Murphy to shop!

Don't miss this place - it is a gem and I just wish it was closer to home!

This is one of my favorite places when I come to Murphy. Keisha is amazing and her talent to find unique things is extraordinary. Every visit I leave with plenty of shirts and gifts for friends and family. Not to mention gorgeous decor for my house. Make sure to check out the Murphy Lofts upstairs if you need a place to stay.

This place is definitely a MUST GO TO!
Located in the heart of downtown Murphy, this gem of a store has everything and them some. Fun vintage finds, locally sourced items, cute home decor, and even mementos to remember your trip! They even have trending items! (You don’t see that too much in smaller towns) I really enjoyed that they have A LOT of local artisans in their store. I love to shop local and this place is a one stop shop. The owner is ever so friendly and down to earth, the other girl is just as nice, and Reece, the shop’s ‘mascot’, is the sweetest fur baby EVER! If you have an opportunity to stop at this store, you must! You won’t be disappointed!!

I'm pretty sure I've written a review for this place before because I just love it so much! The owner, Keisha, has excellent taste! I love the way she decorates- rustic, industrial, boho all combined into one. Definitely different than any other antique shop in town! Must see in Murphy!!

As soon as I walked into this store I was in love!!! The owner was so nice and loved petting her pup and she even had fresh baked cookies, who wouldn't love living and shopping here. Love the selection of unique gifts and more!

Visited here recently while in town. This is a lovely store that you can spend a considerable amount of time in. They’ve done a wonderful job weaving antique/older items throughout along side newer items. There are some wonderful decor items to be had and fun nostalgia pieces as well. I highly recommend stopping by here when in town.

From the second I park near her shop, I'm lured in by the gorgeous styling and finds that Keisha puts together. Every corner. Every shelf. Every book is put together in a way that makes me want EVERYTHING. I've found the most lovely and unique items and gifts here and it's always fun to get creative ideas from the owner!

Sweet little place!!! Such a unique cross of antiques, plants, souvenirs, new things, all beautifully arranged!! Like a little treasure hunt!!

I pretty much have everything I need in life .... BUT every time I walk into Black & White Market, it happens. Something catches my eye and then I dream about it and have to go back and get it. Keisha is so great to help me brainstorm, she is so sweet and patient with me. I try to go in every week. Just to treat myself to some eye candy. Black & White prices are amazing and every time I go in, there is something new.... or old! Ha. Love this store. It is me.... but in a store.

This was one of the few shops open on New Years Day and I am glad they were. We spent what felt like an hour in there looking around and I don't think we even got to inspect half of what was on the shelf. They have a TON of really neat stuff. We will be back next time we are in town!
