Roxana Dolson Hair & Makeup

Roxana did our hair and makeup for an event and she did such a great job! She asked if we had anything in mind, what we were wearing, and gave suggestions based on that. All 4 of us looked beautiful, makeup was not too thick and our hair stayed in place all day and into dancing that night. She was also so sweet and enjoyable to chat with while we were getting glammed up! I highly recommend her for wedding or any event that you want to get glammed up for!

Roxana did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mom and flower girl. She is amazing!!! Throughout the whole process she was available to answer all my questions, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She came up with a schedule for the wedding day that allowed everyone to get their hair and makeup done in a timely manner in order to be ready for the ceremony. I can't recommend her enough!!

Roxana did the hair and make up for my wedding and she was great! On my wedding day, I was worried about how the hairstyle I originally picked would work because of the heat and Roxana immediately had an alternative idea that I actually liked better than what I had originally picked! She was also great at responding to any changes I wanted to my make up after the trial we did so that I would be happy and comfortable with how I looked. Everyone's hair and make up looked great and lasted well throughout the day! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

I used Roxana for my wedding updo. I changed the style two weeks before the wedding, and Roxana was able to do it no problem. I showed her a picture and I felt my hair looked better than the picture. She was very easy to communicate with fast to respond, she also finished my whole wedding party's hair within 2 hours.

Roxana did my hair AND makeup for my wedding! She traveled to me, and was on time, and so kind and helpful. She even left me a sweet note thanking me for having her. I never did a trial run with her before the wedding for my hair or makeup, I just put my complete faith and trust in her to do exactly what I imagined in my head. (A nearly impossible task..I know) but I’m so glad I did because Roxana nailed it! She was very professional, and flexible with me as she let me take breaks in between hair and makeup to run around to coordinate parts of my wedding lol. Roxana listened to my hair vision and made it happen! So happy with my haircut and style. With thick, wavy hair, Roxana cut my hair in a way that would be easy for me to manage and something that would complement my face. Will definitely be scheduling another haircut with her.

I need to start by saying this: I do not wear make-up. I don't like it. It makes me feel weird.

Good. That's out of the way. Now on to my review about Roxana doing my wedding make-up!!

She is AWESOME! Because I do not wear make-up on a regular basis (sometimes mascara, but that's it), I have had my make-up done by professionals a few times. Unfortunately, it always felt cakey, or WAAAAYYYYYYYY too heavy on the eyeliner and eye shadow to the point that I look like a sad, dying deer who's going out to the clubs.

Roxana did a trial on me a few weeks before my wedding, keeping in mind the bad experiences I had had with heavy eye make-up. I felt like a movie star, but wanted to change it up to make it a bit more smokey (without too much eyeliner or shadow) and warmer colors on the day of the wedding. Folks, she didn't use eyeliner at ALL on the day of my wedding and still made me look awesome! The only problem I had was that my lipstick started bleeding onto my face by the time I left the salon, so my (cosmetologist) sister had to remove it and apply something one of my bridesmaids had with them. (I hear this could be fixed by not applying lip balm and applying lip primer instead *shrug*)

Roxana, thank you for making me feel beautiful on the day of my wedding. I am SO grateful.

This was my first time at this salon and I chose Roxana based off of Facebook raves I had previously seen about her. She was extremely personable and knew exactly what she was doing! My hair looked and felt great afterwards. I don’t trust many people with my hair, but I will definitely be retuning!
