Beautiful theater, and spectacular show "Savior of the World "
Only complaint, bathrooms unable to take wheelchair in the stall or special bathroom, also had to send another customer in to have a sidedoor opened so I could enter the building. I understand it takes a few extra minutes but it was well worth it.

An incredible +100 year old theater with amazing community support. They do local plays, 3D and 2D movies, musical performances, and much more in this iconic and will cared for venue.

My first experience was in a Kiwanis production of Oklahoma the musical. Then I competed in the 1972 Miss Ray County Scholarship Pageant held at the Farris Theater

I had played music their many years ago. It was very clean . And very cool place. Looking forward to bringing some Nashville acts their after the virus is over. Country music is so much loved in this historical theater. Movies are shown their also. I was on the show their with Randy Travis. In the 80's the last time I was their totally redone. Nice owners their.

The staff is always very friendly here, and it's nice they give the kids a place to perform. Not to mention the popcorn is fantastic.

Beautiful old hall. It was nice and cool inside even on a hot day. It was easy to get in and out. It's been redone in a very very fine manner. We enjoyed the show.

Absolutely an awesome cinema experience. New projector installed is unbelievable. You experience world class digital cinema with 5.1 Dolby Sound in a restored auditorium on a huge screen! Friendly staff, great prices on concessions and super value on movie tickets - both for 2D and 3D!

I accompanied my parents to experience the show "Liverpool" at the Farris, a live performance of the music of the Beatles. This historic theatre has been restored to its original regality by the many lovers of the fine arts in Richmond, Missouri. The 2018 series of performances provided variety and style, something for everyone. "Liverpool" was spectacular, and the audience ranged in age from 6 to 96 I would guess. Standing alone, that's a very good reason to take the short ride to Richmond and experience a timeless treasure along with the sincerest hospitality one could hope for. This theater is a true gem and a must see! I hope the vaccine for CoVid proves to be reliable and 2021 will see some productions resumed in the summer and fall.

The Farris Theatre is the treasure of our small town. It's like a step back in time seeing live productions. It's nice to take my children to see movies where I went to see movies as a child. We are very fortunate to have those so dedicated in keeping the theatre alive.
