If you want fast, friendly and professional movers Johnson United is who you need. They were there on time worked quick loaded the truck moved our belongings and set it up. I would definately recommend.

I was really please with the service level from sales all the way to the final box being delivered. They were prompt, hustled throughout the whole process, yet careful with my furniture. I would use their service again and would feel confident recommending them.

Had a great receptionist that was easy to understand to schedule our move. Was able to confirm the move times and dates prior to the move for reassurance. The movers showed up on time and were both very friendly and professional. Great Guys I ended up tipping them well as I felt comfortable having them in our home and felt like they were the ideal movers. Overall this company offers a great value for the money compared to their peers by a long shot. No sacrificing quality for money here. Trust me I got 4 quotes and after I got theirs, I looked no further. If I had to move again I would definitely give these guys a call first before even getting another quote.

After another moving company failed to do my scheduled move, Johnson Storage & Moving reached out and offered to schedule my move the next morning. The two movers, Jason and Mitch, were professional and expedient. I have a heavy book collection, but they treated everything with care. The entire move lasted just under 2.5 hours, and cost less than the estimate. Thanks so much!

Ryan Larson helped get us squared away when it came to moving to our new home a state away. We appreciated his prompt attention and service and his professional demeanor. I have used Johnson before and that is why I came back to them when it came time to move again.

The moving team was quick, efficient and jovial. We didn't have the easiest move but Mitch and DJ got it done in less time than expected which meant I saved money. I have already referred Johnson Storage and Moving to two people who are moving soon and will continue to do so

If you are moving within or without (i.e., long distance or not) Kansas City, go to these guys. Don't even waste time with anyone else. After our first movers stopped communicating with us the DAY BEFORE we were supposed to move cross-country, I thought for sure we were [insert NSFW word here] in a major way. Right now, all the moves that didn't happen because if Covid are happening, PLUS those that would be happening now anyway, so supply for moving services is at a low. (When I was arranging our move for early July in early June I heard from five separate companies they were booked already through the third week in July AT LEAST.) In desperation, I called around and Johnson's manager in Topeka (Sharon, who also called to see how our move was, which was unnecessary but so nice) directed me to Josh in their KC office, who not only took my calls, but took my details down and had a quote for packing and moving, both, within about 10 minutes. They showed up two days later, packed us, and then showed up in our new city halfway across the country EARLIER than they had expected. When was the last time a mover showed up before they said they would? Exactly. To top it all off, every obstacle that happened, Josh dealt with like a pro. Building being a huge pain about the cert of insurance? No problem. He involved his broker. Got it thte night before our move-in. Me getting some computer-generated stuff saying the move was happening on a different day and calling him like five times? Totally polite - set nerves at ease. Seriously, this dude deserves a medal, and I would send him a bottle of the nicest thing he drinks, if he drank, which I understand he doesn't. (Non-sequitur but just illustrating I would do more than just pay this guy. He deserves a personal thank-you, and I would figure out what that is if I could. I will somehow.)

Top this all off with his movers, Cary and Brendon. These dudes, man. Not only are they absolutely just the NICEST, they work their butts off. Efficient, cool under pressure, ready to help, careful with your stuff. And just genuinely good people. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed talking to them while they worked on both ends of the move. If they didn't live in KC, I would 100% ask them to come where we live now and move us every single time ever again. Ask for them by name if you can get them. You won't be disappointed.

This company massively saved us when I was legit not sure we'd be able to move at all on time. I'd recommend them a thousand times over.

Honestly this was a very smooth process. Got a quote online and booked the next day. The movers were nice and took good care of the furniture. Will use them again if we have to move again.

I had them move some office furniture between locations and they were very professional and wonderful to work with. They were on time and done very quickly. I will definitely be using them again.
