We have always used G&W enterprises for our garden needs . After it was bought out by SUL enterprises we have been so dissatisfied with the customer service. Owner seems to be very unhappy and was very rude to us when we stopped to pickup seeds like we were interrupting his day. Looks like we will need to find another place to get our seeds and gardening items .. definately wish Wade and Gwen fuller was still there.

Unfortunately we have had a very distasteful experience with this company. We placed an order for a truckload of garden soil based on the recommendations of the company. What we received was a truckload of mainly sand and what appears to be wood mulch. My husband was very polite in calling to see how we could remedy the problem and receive a product that would be better for our garden boxes. Both the wife and husband were extremely accusatory and rude, blaming my husband for not having come to look at the product first, stating that in 20 years they’ve never had a complaint. I find this hard to believe.

My husband asked if we could send a picture of what we received or if a picture could be sent to us of what the soil was suppose to look like. They would not entertain either. We had a friend look at what was delivered who had ordered the exact same product and said “That’s not what mine looked like.” It seems like it would maybe be possible we got the wrong thing delivered to us, and we asked this question. The response was more anger and accusations. The statement was made “well your wife came down and looked at it before ordering” and my husband politely responded “I’m sorry but I think you have us confused with someone else. My wife has never been there.” Then the issue was that we had never gone into the store to look at the product ourselves before ordering. This is true. We called and requested what this companies best recommendations for garden soil was for our garden boxes. We ordered a 50/50 mixed based on the recommendation of the shop to get the pure garden soil and a sandy mix. I wish there was a way to post pictures here. We received sand and wood chips.

We are very understanding and can see how miscommunications can happen. Honestly, if they would have kindly and professionally said they were sorry that we were unhappy with the product but from their end they delivered what we ordered, did the best to provide us with what we needed, and that unfortunately no refund, partial refund, or discount on a different purchase could be offered, we would have probably been still disappointed but would have accepted that answer and moved on. Respect and kindness go a long way.

I was truly shocked at the way I heard both individuals speaking to my husband. I have never left a poor review for any business, and unfortunately I am doing so today because I feel I would want others to know before choosing to offer their business to this particular place.

I’ve been trying to call for the past 3 days and no answer or call back.
