I was able to adopt an 8 month old German Shepherd that had been abused before it arrived here and Corey was very helpful as well as Peggy. I would definitely recommend coming here to adopt an animal. They were very nice and professional

I came late to see their dogs. With 15 minutes left before closing, he let me see 3 dogs, answered all my questions and was very kind and patient with me.
The shelter clearly doesn't have alot of money but the dogs looked good and seemed healthy. I really believe they're doing the best they can with the funds available to them. And I say well done folks, y'all are heros.

These guys love animals and always go above & beyond.

Im looking for my dog, blue pit female .She has been missing since this morning February 27,2023 please help us find her!we pray that she is ok!

I had to euthanize my baby today. The lady at the front counter was very nice. Although they were nice, they were not compassionate. These workers were so cold, I feel awful that I actually gave my baby of 15 years to them. I know they have to detach themselves, they should know how to be compassionate to the mommy of the dog. They were very cold.

They are the most rude people you will ever deal with. I called the police dept to rescue a dog that was being abused and they called the animal control to come out to the home to access the situation and they said that they couldn’t do anything. The man that delt with me was so disrespectful over the phone.

COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. They don’t care about animals.

We adopted a dog from another rescue who had pulled the dog from Upson, which is a high-kill shelter. When we called Upson the next day to get information about where she came from, any records, etc., we were told they do not have any information whatsoever about any of their dogs. They said they do not even name the dogs they get in. They were unable to give us even the simplest of information such as how she got to the shelter (owner surrender, picked up from the street, etc.). This is appalling and shows how little regard they have for the animals in their care. Grateful that she was able to escape this place before being killed.

This place is a joke! I have never been told to put animals back where I found them in 40 degree weather to die. Wow. The woman behind the counter was very rude and unhelpful. I do NOT recommend this place at all.

why wont these people do there job? when you call about the same problem animal for years and nothing gets done what are you supposed to do.. this place is a joke as far as taking care of problem and or viscous animals(DOGS). this place is a joke and the people working there are a waste of MY tax dollars !

the lady i called was very rude..
