The shrimp salsa is good! The grilled gaint shrimp and new potatoes were good also. Nice friendly fast service. It's a place worth a visit if you never dined at The Fish Peddler!

Face it - there's not many seafood options around middle GA. This one is good! If you want to get your fix go grab some fresh oysters or Gulf Shrimp. Grab a beer. Relax and enjoy. This place isn't fancy, it's not supposed to be. If you blink, you'll miss it, but the locals know about it. Service can be a little on the slower side, but just relax and enjoy it because it's worth it to get quality seafood. Owners are friendly too.

It was my birthday dinner. Very tasty, you get what you pay for.

This place has the best food of anywhere around. Cassidy is the absolute best waitress ever! She truly loves waiting on people and it shows! Will definitely be back every week!!!

I love the shells on the parking lot to the exposed beams inside and of course I love the staff and the food! Tried the shrimp salsa and loved it! Great place to go on the weekends.

We LOVE the Fish Peddler. We eat here ALMOST every weekend and if we could, we would eat here every weekend!!! Lisa and Jay are the sweetest people along with their staff. I highly recommend!

My wife and I and another couple came for dinner here. We arrived at 1730 and there was no wait; we were seated right away. I ordered the grilled salmon, my wife had the chicken. The food was outstanding! My salmon was the best I have had in a long time. The new potatoes as a side are delicious. The garlic bread, the cheese grits...all of it was amazing. The service was absolutely excellent as well. The server was friendly and attentive. This was our first time visiting, but it won't be the last!! Loved it!

Best seafood, period!! It doesn't get any better than the fish peddler! The owner is one of the nicest guys I've ever met and his staff are all awesome!! This is my family's favorite restaurant, as you can tell by this post! 😜. No matter what you order, get it blackened! The seasoning is amazing!! If you're local to the area or just passing through, go and support a wonderful local business that is worthy of your money and patronage!!

Visiting for a long weekend with my husband from Florida. Absolutely delicious food and most of all the service was just wonderful. Everyone was so nice! Seaford was fantastic and grits, well, best we've ever had! We will most definitely be back next time we're in town.

The food is AMAZING. I especially like the health awareness of this establishment because they do not fry anything. Everything is boiled, grilled, or steamed. The staff and owner all posses that southern charm. Nice family friendly environment. This is a stop you won't regret. My mother who isn't big on seafood loved her food and talked very highly of it, that's how good the food is.

I've always went out of town for seafood. Not realizing there was better seafood right here in town. We ate there last night and the food was great and the staff was just as great! I will be eating there more often. I couldn't believe I ate the whole dozen of oyster Rockefeller, half a pound of big red shrimp, and a whole pound of snow crab legs with the sides. You have to try this place out!!! There was about a 20 min wait and there's not much room to park but it's worth the wait. Don't let any of the negative reviews stop you from trying it. It almost stopped me but I'm glad I didn't let it. Nothing is fried at all in this place. Well maybe the bacon if your meal happens to have bacon. You won't be disappointed!

Just visited the fish peddler this weekend for the first time in a while. The food is pretty good. I had grilled tuna and crab cakes which was fantastic. I sat at the bar and was able to watch most of my food being cooked on a small skillet, which is pretty amazing given the production quality. This place seems like it would be on a beach somewhere, which is one of the best things about it.

Food was fantastic!! Every last model of the fish, and shrimp w/grits was mouth watering with flavor. Service was a little slow, but definitely worth the wait!! Sorry, it was so good, I forgot to take pics.

Everything is good! Love the family vibe. Already went back again. Food and family are wonderful. Fun environment too

New to me no fried food, was GREAT!

Wonderful food. Try their fish pasta salad. The owner is so nice and their staff really know the food. The only hard time I had was trying to decide what I wanted to eat because their menu looked so good. I love this little place and will be back. Their food was just as fresh as going to the coast. It was like being on vacation . thank you all for a welcome to the town and be so wonderful last night! We will be back. And someone said in another post on here that it looked run down. Well...the building is older but next time you come back ask the owner about the history and you wont think it is a bad building at all. Building was from the era of ww2. Its older not run down. :) very nice experience.

The food was amazing!! Felt like I was at the beach how fresh the food was!! The oysters are the biggest ones I have ever seen. Overall this is my favorite seafood place to eat at in Georgia for seafood. The owner Jay is extremely nice. Overall on a 1 to 10 score I have to give it a 15!!!

The food was phenomenal. I had the royal red shrimp special. It's a seasonal item. The service was superb. Really great dining experience. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service. Cheese grits were so good that I could have made an entire meal with them. Fish tacos were very, very good. I'm so glad since we drove an hour and a half to get there.

First off we drove 40 miles to eat here. let me say we were not disappointed. The staff was great and the food is very good. If there was a salt water breeze you would forget you are in a small town in central Georgia.
