i got my first “real” car after driving a beater for years and i couldnt be more happy with my experience! tim and his team were super awesome, fast, reliable, and tim was so honest and easy to talk to. right off the lot i had to drive cross country 2,600 miles and got there with absolutely no problems, so i cant recommend them enough. so thankful i trusted him with my new ride !

Buying a car out-of-state from a dealer you've never met before, there are so many things that can go wrong. Some of them did for me, with another dealer in Virginia. I put a supposedly refundable deposit on a car that I ended up not buying, and instead of returning my deposit, they stopped answering my phone calls and stuck me on hold forever when I'd call. I had to file a complaint with my bank, and it took almost 3 months to get the money back.

Compared to this, Tim from Mckenzie Motors was a breath of fresh air. He was friendly, honest, and more than fair with me. He was not afraid to admit when he didn't know something, unlike some of the other dealers I had already talked to. This was my first time buying an electric vehicle, and his first time selling one. I had done a lot of research on what might be the best option in my price range, and already knew that I wanted a BMW i3 after driving one locally. That dealer's price was way over the Bluebook value, and he was also pushy about financing. So I decided I was willing to drive up to several hours from Pittsburgh to find a similar one at a good price, with maybe a little more mileage on it. I'm so glad to have met Tim and purchased my vehicle from him.

Besides making the car purchase easy and as stress-free as possible, he suggested some sights to see around Baltimore since I'd never been there before. When I got the car home and had it inspected, I found out it needed an outer tie rod replaced. I was fully aware that I bought the car as-is, but this seemed odd, since it had just been serviced at a BMW dealership in Delaware a few months before I bought it. Tim put me in touch with them, and they helped me figure out that the local mechanic wanted to overcharge me for the repair. Their exact words were "I could replace all four tie rods for that price." I took it to a local BMW dealership for the repair, which ended up being about half the cost of that mechanic. That guy was trying to charge me $700 for a $150 part.

I hope this car lasts me a very long time. But when I need to replace it, I will strongly consider driving to Maryland again to get my next one. Tim runs his car dealership the way I try to run my computer tech support business, and the way my father ran his private dental practice: with the kind of integrity and personal touch that's the true advantage small businesses have over big corporations. My dad has sometimes said that most dentists are crooks who will try to rip you off, and conventional wisdom says the same is true of car dealers. I have been working for myself in tech support for over 25 years, and I received Super Service Awards from Angie's List for 5 years in a row. I do not say this lightly or very often: Tim runs his business the way a business ought to be run, and he should be proud of that. I wish him nothing but success.

We just purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla S from McKenzie Motors. We can't say enough good things about Ramsey and Tim! They understood our budget and need for a safe reliable car for our son's family. They made sure that the vehicle was running well and even replaced the serpentine belt when Ramsey heard it making a sound he didn't like. They pay attention to every little and big detail. I bought a car there in like 2011 or 2012 and it was one of the best cars i ever owned. I just bought a car from them this month and I’m sure it will be the same! I also got a car inspected there about 3 years ago and they were honest about all repairs needed! I worked with Ramsey this time and he is the best!!! He was extremely friendly and informative, he was upfront and honest about everything! I will buy cars from them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a car!!

I cant say it enough Ramsey is a great salesman. He is truthful, knowledgeable, and kind and made my car searching experience painless and easy after I totaled my vehicle. Excellent customer service and a quality vehicle! Ramsey went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied and got the deal I wanted. I bought a 2002 Honda from these guys, Ramsy was very helpful with helping me find a reliable car for daily use. A week into driving the car, my radiator started to leak. I called and they told me to bring it in immediately, they went above and beyond in fixing my car and replacing the radiator within that day!! The next day after I left work, I thought I noticed a leak , so again I called and they said bring it back! They showed me the pressure test so I knew everything was all good. I would highly recommend this lot to anyone!

The Yong mechanic that works in the garage there knows his stuff I can tell u that don't let the young age fool you u can tell he has been doing it all his life and loves what he dose and gives back to the great community and has very good xperienced in that feld he dose a great fast and dependable job for a reusable and fair price and allways gos the extra mile to help people out on the car issues and explains and shows u the stuff that needs to be looked at and fixed right away before it leads to bigger problems.and he allso tells us what can wait for a latter date and and pretty fast on diagnosis all years makes and models.he is very smart and intoned with the latest technology and up to date on the newest updates on cars and equipment

These guys went above and beyond! I bought a truck from another company down the road That had a couple issues and was told to bring it here for repair. The staff was transparent, friendly and knowledgeable. They addressed the issues in a timely manner and even advocated for me to the other facility for other issues discovered. 5 stars all the way! Wish I could say the same for the other company. Next time I’ll buy direct from here!
