It seems like a “counseling center”,would do better screening before hiring someone to be the front line employee.

Whoever hired the man at the front desk must have been given a fabricated resume. Someone who is dead inside and doesn't like taking phone calls shouldn't work a front desk. Much less, at a counseling center. That man is literally terrible.
