After seeing a few recent negative reviews for Dr Wells (staffing issues), I felt the need to voice my opinion to say how AMAZING I think DR WELLS is.

I saw a few comments on back office/ staffing issues (issues that I DID NOT experience), but those are easy items to get right (and a good leader like Dr Wells will fix those immediately).

The overall quality of care, understanding of my needs and GENUINE CONCERN FOR MY HEALTH from Dr Wells was top notch. I was very happy with the care I received from Dr Wells, and I highly recommend DR Wells (and his staff).

The nurse practitioner I saw was absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. Very thankful for this practice!

Dr. Wells is the best Gastroenterologist in the area, bar none. He has been my doctor for several years now, and I don't have a single thing to complain about, his attitude, his professionalism and his skills have never been less than the very best. I would recommend him to my friends and family without one ounce of reservation.

Recently had my first colonoscopy, Dr. Wells is the best. He was highly recommended by my primary doctor, then found out he is my brothers Gastrologist.

Best gastrointestinal (GI) doctor in North Florida. He can diagnose and treat correctly the first time. He really knows what he's doing.

Had fairly severe pain, immediately after colonoscopy, in my abdomen on the left side which I relayed to my nurse. They discharged me and told me to take Tylenol for the pain. I continued to have the same pain 2 days later and called Dr. Wells office and the nurse told me it was unusual to have that sort of pain and if it didn't get better over the weekend to call the office on Monday and they would make me an appt. I feel they should have told me to come in immediately to check for a spleen injury or a perforated bowel, etc. Their lack of concern for my wellbeing is extremely disappointing and I will not go back.

If you would like to see a medical assistant in the waiting room after having 3 appointments that were all rescheduled after waiting in the waiting room for an hour an a half. Dr. Wells is your guy. He has no concern for your health and I’ve never experienced a “Dr. so detached to his patients. Save your time money and health do not visit this office.

Office staff is unhelpful and no one returns calls. I have requested the report from colonoscopy three times in 4 months. Each time they say someone will call back. Crickets!!! I paid for an exam but cannot get my results. For all i know they didn’t do it. Stay away. You don’t get what you paid for. There is no “care” in this “healthcare” facility.

I am a Doctor in private practice for twenty years and I have never in my career seen an office run so unprofessional. I waited at two desks only to be told my appointment was cancelled. I can’t caution people enough to find a different office that actually cares about their new patients.

Do not see this doctor. Unprofessional save your time and see a doctor who gives advice, referrals and recommendations and doesn't go out of their way to ignore patients.

Referrals will go to relitives who charge 3x regular cost (e.g., referred to home health care when don't require home health care). Saying out of pocket cost is $0.00 when the bill was for over $400.00. Nurse says she will call back in a day when it's already been several days, never called back after leaving additional messages, and saying there is only one other place for treatments. Run!!!

If booking an appointment with the digestive disease center.... bring your patience with you.....I had an appointment for 3:45 as a return patient and after talkin with the girl sitting at the very front desk assured me my appointment time was on time as schedule and that they many doc's there, I sat down expecting it to be relatively close, but as i sat there i learned i was surrounded by people in their lobby who were complaining that they had ben waiting for over an hour.....plenty of people! Here it was 5:00 and I haven't ben called back along with approximately twenty or so other people. In my opinion if you can't handle the amount of people you book appointments for than don't book them! It's not fare to your clients to juss to try and squeeze a few more bucks through the door if you don't have time for them!....remeber like it says on their website that your time is important to them......but they will charge you a fee of $25.00 for a cancelation! My time is just a valuable as their's and I'm sure your is too. I requested my full history of records with them to seek an office who values their patients time and understands their limitations as fare as scheduling.

The worse doctor ever, bad please do not go to this doctor.
