One of the most loving surgeons I’ve ever had. I was probably one of her first surgical patients. I had my spleen removed, and she performed this and saved my life after my platelets dropped to one, and I was in a coma for a while took me a long time to recover, but that was because I had complications, but she did such a wonderful surgery and saved my life without her I would be dead. I want to thank her for my life on this earth that I have and God.

Dr. Hysong took over once my mother was admitted to the hospital. She is a very compassionate doctor with excellent knowledge as a surgeon. My mother surgery turned from a simple procedure to a open long surgery . Dr. Hysong was amazing and a Godsent! Would recommend her to anyone! Awesome and amazing! She cares for her patients and follows through with them with great details!

I was referred to Dr. Hysong after trying to figure out some digestion issues over 18 months from four other doctors. She was professional and caring taking the time to go over exactly what she felt was the issue and laying out a course of action. After done she was able to alleviate my problem and I finally got some relief. Her staff was the most amazing group. Always upbeat and expressing general care and concern for both myself and my family. Highly recommend this Doctor and this practice.

Dr. Hysong is the reason my wife is here today. No one knows why my wife survived 2 months in a coma. Other doctors wanted to do exploratory surgery, that most likely my wife would never survive. Dr Hysong said no and allowed my wife's body to heal. She was there everyday, even on her off day. She kept me encouraged and never gave up. Her compassion gave me hope. That was Febuary through April 2012; my wife is still going strong today.. Thank you Dr Housing.

I meet this awesome lady out side of her being a doctor,,found her very refreshing ,,,but that was two years ago !!! I'm a patient fixing to have my gallbladder removed and I'm so relieved she is doing the surgery,,never met a dr that takes the time and one patient at a time, dont BASH her for any reason at all,she is just trying to do her job , I say too bad she couldn't teach the rest of the Doctors around in panama city a thing or two!!!!!!!

I have seen this dr. At the hospital ariund her patients and their families. She has operated on 4 of my friends, for different things. I went in as trauma patient not knowing that I had about a hour to live she did about an eight hour surgery and saved my life the next two years I was under her care a major surgery coming up she suggested I might go to Shands or Mayo she hadn’t done a surgery like this before I sure didn’t want to go elsewhere and start over again she consulted with another dr and reassured me that she could do this procedure let’s do it I said job well done I owe her my life she is very compassionate knowledgeable reassuring doctor kept my family well informed I would refer her to anyone
