More Better Restaurant & Beer Garden

We have been here 5x! And these 2 mains so far are my favorite - summer salmon and jägerschnitzel! The salmon is perfectly cooked and the 3-cheese risotto that goes with it is just as awesome! I usually ask for extra gravy for my jägerschnitzel. I also love it with fries and broccoli! Yummmm!
P.S. If I am not the DD, I sure hope to try their beers!

I never review places but this is worth my review. The server was amazing. Very accommodating and the food was mouth watering delicious! I highly recommend the Frickles, and the grilled cheese pork sandwich was to die for. I also got a side Caesar salad which was so fresh! The service was prompt and the food was so fresh!! I saved this as my favorite. I will be back !!

We've been going to More Better for years. Recently my husband and I wondered if it was under new management because of some obvious changes in staff morale and the absence of the previous manager. I was delighted to learn I was right after asking out waitress. We found out it has the same owners, and same great food, but a new General Manager was hired a few months ago. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is phenomenal - great portions and it comes out quickly. You can see that their employees make a great team. The atmosphere is great! They have a lot more inside tables now too, so less wait on cold or rainy days when we can't sit outside..We loved it before, but now it's even MORE BETTER - Highly recommend!!

Food was wonderful! Schnitzel was perfect. The rib and grilled cheese was the BEST!! Cold beer and do t forget the fried apples with vanilla ice cream ( definitely enough for 2…. Maybe 3 people. Staff was super sweet and very attentive.

We’ve been coming to More Better for a while now, and I can say the brunch and lunch combo is awesome on the weekends.

I got the traditional farmers breakfast to keep it simple because I know I have the pleasure of cleaning up the kids scraps. It hit the spot, the eggs and sausage were perfect, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and cooked through as well.

The wife got the enchiladas rancheros, the chorizo is not over the top spicy but great flavor and a little heat that’s balanced with the flavor. She says it was a filling breakfast and something she’d order again.

Son got the French toast breakfast, and it was really good. I’m probably going to order that the next time we’re here. And for those with little ones that are basic, the chicken tenders kids meal was great with fries and fruit.

We also got a cinnamon roll to share for the table. My biggest regret is not getting one to savor all to myself. Nice and flaky crust on the bottom, warm and gooey on the inside.

So, I gave it 5 because it’s really one of the best places in the area. Only other comparisons are breweries with limited and so-so menus. But this place consistently delivers. Have been here three times in the past month and while the beer options are slightly limited, what they offer is quite good. But it’s the sizable menu that is the star and a bit more elevated for pub food.

This time around we had the schnitzel (dynamite!), tacos, fish & chips and quinoa bowl with steak. The schnitzel was perfect, crisp and smothered in a mushroom gravy. The tacos are always tasty. The fish and chips had a pleasant, herby (I believe it was dill), and freshly prepared tartar sauce that I wish I had the recipe for. Lastly, the quinoa bowl was very flavorful from the apples to the cranberries and the dressing but it was the addition of a protein, this time steak, that was the wow factor. It’s was an additional $9 but it was a huge portion. However, it did seem light on the quinoa; next time I may ask for the dressing on the side so I can add as much as I like.

Although the beer selection is fantastic, this is a food destination! A no-frills beer hall with a great patio. No ho-hum bar food here! The schnitzle was on point and I have not eaten a better executed fish & chips anywhere! Even the Brussel Sprout app (with bacon 🥓 and balsamic :) was spectacular! You need to try the food here, beer 🍺 or no beer, you will not be disappointed!! Hats off to the kitchen staff 🧑‍🍳

I really can’t believe I didn’t try this place sooner. Loved everything about it. Great beer garden atmosphere, service, beers, and FOOD. I stress the food because I’ve never had such a delightful pretzel in my life! Feels strange to focus on a pretzel, but it was THAT special. Charcuterie board was on point, wings were good, and beer quenching.
Nice enough outdoor area and cool German vibe. Will definitely go back!

Everything about this place is fantastic! Nestled in a little multi use building (along with the wonderful Mom's Apple Pie) if you blink while cruising by on route 7 you might miss it, which would be a huge mistake. You are greeted with smile, and the smell of delicious food. Order a full liter (that's right, I said full) of your favorite German beer, a couple of apps, and a schnitzel so good it reminds you of the ones Oma used to make.

We ordered takeout and it was absolutely amazing. We ordered a cheeseburger, grilled cheese, and the fried cookie dough dessert. It was ready in 14 minutes and cooked absolutely perfectly. We will definitely be reordering in the future.

I must admit, I'm what's taken by surprise by this place. At first, the appearance seems a little run down, which gives me the impression of your typical bar food.
But when I ordered, boy was I surprised! I talked to the manager for a couple of recommendations and I settled on the quinoa with added salmon and a pulled rib cheese sandwich.
Omg the presentation of these orders themselves were out of character for the decor of the restaurant. You could have taken any one of these dishes and place them in a fine dining restaurant in DC. And the flavor and texture of the food was spot on. I plan on going back for the steak that was recommended.
The manager also recommended a dessert, upon my request, and it too was top-notch.
I highly recommend giving this little off-the-beaten-path brewery a definite "try"! I believe you will be pleasantly pleased.
I heard the schnitzel is to die for.

Our new fave! Monday Happy Hour(my day off ) 3-6. Great deals on awesome beer and wine. The appetizers are amazing!
Driving by on Rt. 7 then do yourself a favor and stop, you will be glad you did.
And our server Stephany was very sweet and excellent!

Nice lunch or dinner restaurant. You can have a more casual faire like a burger, or go for the salmon dish (which is fantastic!). Great beer selection of brown ales and porters, which seem hard to find these days amidst the lingering IPA craze. Also, dog friendly!

This was a gem of a find for a spot to stop for dinner while on our way back from visiting Great Country Farms! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service and atmosphere was very nice as well. We ordered the cheese plate for an appetizer, and it was heavenly! The bread slices that went with it were super delicious just on their own! I order the 8oz filet mignon with asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was some of the juiciest steak I have ever eaten in my life! We definitely want to come here again sometime soon!

Food is good, service is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. Need I day more? This place is a fantastic restaurant next to some nice shops. Had the steak, it was well priced and well cooked. Nice medium rare.

This place is about a 40 min drive for us and not just around the corner, but it’s always worth the drive. It is not a fancy place, but the food, drinks and service are great! They have something for everyone and the music is good. We have been there many times and each time we are surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness. The food is made fresh with fresh ingredients. Last night we decided to have the full size filet. Not something you expect to have at a beer place. The steak arrived at a perfect temperature and it tested better than many high-end steakhouses around the DC area. We were pleasantly surprised :-)

10/7/2022 - Just went back today - What can I say ... Great food, beer and service as always. The steak picture is from today. It was perfect.

The food is spectacular! Service was great and the GM Sharar made sure we had an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be by again to try other items on the menu.

This place completely took us by surprise. Away from the main breweries and wineries but very close to most attractions. The patio is amazing and the food options are extremely delicious. I had the best whiskey old-fashioned and my companion had a really good Mojito. Very nice craft beer selection by the way. The crabcakes were amazing as well as the shrimp tacos. The ambience was very inviting and they have plenty of parking.
We liked this place so much that we came back the following morning when they open for brunch. Avocado toast was simply scrumptious and Cinnabon bun was just fantastic. If you go next-door, they have a country store with the most amazing selection of beer, local produce and bakery. They have fantastic pie options. And very nice local souvenirs and ornaments. I completely recommend this place for anybody in the area

Can't get more better than this!

We went here for brunch on our way out of Bluemont last weekend and we really enjoyed it. The food was delicious, and they had quite a variety on the menu that I can see going back many times without getting bored.

Definitely will be back!
