Wow! Great selection of books! Organized well and easy to locate desired authors! Staff was over & above helpful and friendly!

What a wonderful store!! There was an amazing selection of books for all kinds of readers. A fantastic Idaho section with so many gems. My daughter was in love with the childrens/young adult section as well as the toy selection. Art supplies, journals, gifts... I could have spent hours in there and been a happy camper. On top of that was a fantastic staff! My daughter ended up with a random and horrible bloody nose and the staff was so incredibly kind and helpful. I walked away so thorough impressed with everything about Barn aowl Books. If you are in McCall it is a MUST!!!

I was visiting McCall from out of state and happened to stop in on Independent Bookstore Day and I'm so glad I did! This store is so warm and welcoming. They had treats and freebees to celebrate Bookstore Day and had a 20% off sale. They had a wide variety, and I really enjoyed the selection. The shop cat is also so cute. They also had amazing gifts in addition to all of the books.

A small quaint bookstore that has more than just books. You can pick up stuffed animals, art supplies, and games as well. I highly recommend a visit; super useful as an activity on a rainy day.

Helpful staff! Cute place! Lots to choose from, there is even a smattering of art supplies! Left with more than I planned, but that's the fun of it! I will be back!

There is so much great stuff besides a nice selection of books: art supplies, puzzles, cards, canvas bags, toys, and more. I go there often for unique gifts as well as the latest book I want. There is also a shelter kitty hoping you'll fall in love with her and take her home. I guarantee you will enjoy shopping here.

Never disappointed when I come here, if they don't have the book I want, they will order it. My go-to stop for some amazing gifts! Staff is so kind!

The epitome of a true, independent book store. Smaller in size, but the book selection is lovingly curated. A very nice children's section is delightful. Locally owned/operated and most worthy of your visit and support!

Such a neat and diverse book shop! I found books for my grandkids, one for me, my friend, and also a few awesome toys. I also found the best mug for a fisherman friend that is now his favorite. The attendant was so helpful and kind I felt like I made a new friend. Definitely recommend stopping here and spending some time when you are in McCall!

Fabulous book store with quality inventory. Super nice space with plenty of spots to sit and browse. I love the fact they often have an adoptable cat inside! (We've been tempted more than once...). Always find great books here, plus super nice gifts. A great addition to town!

Simply love this independent book store! The owners have so many great selections, we find a new and interesting title on every visit. It is also a lovely place for gifts and and paper goods. Love this book store in Mcall. The owner is really nice and loves books and loves to read. They have a cute new store dog. She was nice enough to recommend a few books for my wife; can't wait to give them to her for Christmas. Must shop place

What a fantastic independent bookstore! A surprising find in small McCall. The owner stocks new books along with lots of items from local folks - pretty cards, photo cards and journals. A "must" visit in between all the outdoor fun that McCall offers!

Great selection of carefully selected books. I love this bookstore! My husband and I stop in every time we are in McCall. It is tucked back off the road a bit so you have to look for it, but not bad and it's definitely worth the tiny bit of extra effort to find.

This is an awesome book store. Huge variety of books to look at. The selection of bookmarks and fun knickknacks is also top notch. Great service from staff! They are very helpful if you can't find what you are looking for. The price is good too. Highly recommended by a book lover 😀
