Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground

Bonito Hollow Rv Park was outstanding for our stay. Marshall, the owner, went above and beyond to accommodate us when we lost our cat while staying at Bonito Hollow. I was truly blessed that he found RV spots for us to move around to until we were ready to leave. Losing a pet is so hard but the entire staff at Bonito Hollow helped us in any way they could. The entire staff is friendly and helpful.

The RV park is kept clean, the laundry and shower facility was clean. I felt safe here. I would highly recommend staying at Bonito Hollow RV park if you are in Alto, New Mexico.

UPDATE: The staff at Bonito Hollow were paramount in finding our sweet kitty. Our kitty was lost there and stayed for 6 weeks. A camp host spotted her, she sent me a photo and I was on the next plane to New Mexico from Washington. Scarlett was rescued and is now home, happy and healthy. Thank you to all the camp host and Marshall from Bonito Hollow.

This is such a gorgeous park. The sites are plenty far apart, the river runs between the park and the road leaving the campers with a beautiful soundtrack, the trees are very well maintained, and the staff was easy to work with and extremely helpful and attentive. They have a lovely little trail running near the river as well for kiddos to explore. I only wish we could have stayed for a full week. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I travel to Ruidoso about four times a year. On one of our last trips we found Benito hollow RV Park. This was unlike any other RV park in Ruidoso. It still had that in the woods Feeling plenty of space between campers and an eye for detail in the layout of the spaces. We stayed for 4 days and the campground was amazing. Beautiful place to go. Hiking close to everything. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We made our reservation for a site with full hookups and we're not disappointed. It was actually nice not to have phone service. But for emergencies you can hook up to the internet and download WhatsApp for talking to family and friends if you need to. The camp hosts were very friendly and very knowledgeable about everything going on in the area. We would recommend this RV park to anyone who's looking for a spot to get away and just relax. We were there in September and in the evenings and in the mornings you could hear the elk bugling and the deer would walk right into camp and mill around all morning. Very friendly for children also very safe. Highly recommended. We will return time and time again.

Beautiful spot! We enjoyed staying a week here and will return for sure. Clean facilities, helpful and friendly staff. Zero cell phone coverage (T-Mobile) and the WIFI is super slow. We work remotely so we had to go into Ruidoso everyday but took advantage of the free WIFI at Wingfield Park. Look forward to our next trip.

The best RV campground by far. Clean, well kept, lots of wildlife around. Power is stable and the slots by the creek are my favorite. Very friendly owners and staff. They are the main reason we return. Wifi is spotty and very little to no cell coverage. Wifi is good enough for call over wifi. When the place is packed, Wifi is overwhelmed. Bring plenty of dvd's and unplug for awhile. I hate sharing this, but I want this resort supported. They can only make an amazing place even better.

We LOVE Bonito Hollow! We've been coming here for about 7 years now. The staff here are very friendly and courteous, a staff member will take you to your site, so your not left looking for it. Another plus, he'll also help back you in, which is good, because I just loath ground guiding an RV. 🤭 Bonito Hollow is well maintained, bathrooms/laundry area very clean. Cute little park near the creek. A must place to stay and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Gwen was great! Checked us in, showed us our reserved place! Very quiet and peaceful park. Camp host and evening night patrol were nice, polite and very helpful in every aspect! Nice weekend get away from all the city stress. Seen Elk early in the morning and heard the turkeys. Looking at our calendar to go again very soon!

Amazing RV park. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Park is beautiful and very well kept. We stayed in spot 6 with our 21ft travel trailer and had ample space. The site even had pretty good shade to it. One night we even got to see a group of wild horses stroll through the park, just breathtaking. Certainly will be back.

Great place to camp and get away. Places to visit within easy reach. Wifi is spotty.

Man…. This park is beautiful! The owner and his guys are Super friendly. We are in a 43’ motor home pulling our 1800 Goldwing and had no problem maneuvering thru the park. Riding around here is AMAZING! Thank y’all from one park to another for a great stay.

Really awesome people and really nice location and is very kid friendly and even has a park for kids and they sell ice bags for $3 per bag!!! You would really like this campground so please come visit!!

We love this place!! Great people work there! Once you drive to the office they take care of you all the way to your site, and help you maneuver into your site(not too well at backing up). Outstanding!! I highly recommend Bonito Hollow! Plus the trail along the creek! There's just too many positive things I could write but my two fingers are getting tired. Thank you!

It all starts with a drive across a bridge and you enter a great place to stay. There is a park like central area that boasts a dog park, horse shoes, and even volley ball. If those aren't your things you can also take a nice walk along the Rio Bonito river (creek to most people). Our spot, #6, was spacious and very clean with the river bordering it. The camp hosts would occasionally pass by and if we were outside would ask if needed anything to make our stay more pleasant. I can not address the facilities at the park as they were still closed due to Covid but judging by the rest of the park I would bet they keep them very tidy. Thank you Bonito Hollow for having us, we had a very relaxing three days.

We really enjoyed our time here over Mother's Day weekend! Clean, spacious campsites, friendly staff! Our spot backed right up to the cutest part of the river! Kids had tons of fun! There's a pavilion for day use (fee applies) Mountain views were gorgeous!

what a great place. New obsession. What a fun experience. Let's start with the people that work there. They are so nice and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and super clean. At night the have someone checking the grounds. I can't recommend enough. Will be back. Also I bought from them a couple of bundles of wood. We had to run and errand wood delivered by fire ring and kindling in ring to help start fire. The little touches were fantastic

This was my first time camping here and my family and I loved it. Checking in at the front office was quick and easy and they had people lead you to your site and help you back up. That alone made me happy. In the middle of the campground they have a large area that my boys were able to go run around an play in without me having to worry about them. They don't have to many full hookup spots but we got a partial hookup and just used their dump station on the way out, very easy. I did not try to use the showers or laundry so I can't speak to that but overall we were very happy. We will be returning here soon and look forward to when we can camp here and fish at Bonito lake.

Didn't get the names of the hosts ( there were a few) but all of them were so friendly..this is a wonderful RV park. Very clean, very spacious, lots to see and new friends to be made. Will definitely be booking another getaway here. Some could be deterred by it's location, (Alto, NM) but it's quiet and just close enough to town to go shopping. Love this place.

This was our first time staying here and we had a great experience! It was just my daughter(5yo) and myself....her first camping experience. Jimmy and Ronny were very accommodating and Sue was welcoming upon arrival. Jimmy went out of his way to make the last evening of our trip memorable by making certain my daughter got a camp fire for making her s’mores(she was super happy of course)! Great memories made here.

Really awesome spot. Staff was really nice and facility was really clean. Bathrooms were really nice and very clean. I'm impressed. They have firewood available and will deliver it to your site. We saw wild horses walking around the camp and could hear turkey in the evening. They had a lot of people on Saturday night, but Sunday night it was almost empty and really peaceful. I highly recommend this place.
