Salmon River Brewery

Enjoyed a nice meal with good flavor as well as good service. Went for lunch and tried the Philly with pub fries and the beer cheese soup which is clearly made in house. My girlfriend had a pizza which she really enjoyed as well. Only complaint was they don't have single serving size pizza so we took 3/4 of a pizza back to our hotel.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat down in McCall, and found this place! And let me tell you we were not disappointed! The customer service here is impeccable, everyone there was so friendly and patient with us! The food was delicious, I definitely recommend the Spicy Chicken Wrap; they weren’t kidding when they said it was spicy, & The Black-N-Blue Elk Burger! Will for sure tell my friends to visit when they take trips to McCall!

Surprised by the good food
It was a cold and stormy night...
... and I had just arrived from Boise with my family for a McCall weekend.
Let's go for a beer and some food we said. And what food! Chicken pot pie with a not-cheap-at-all side salad was comforting.
The now almost ubiquitous roasted brussel sprouts were unhealthy but delicious as usual.
The surprise was the Thai quinoa curry. In McCall? Awesome, and so well made!
No complaints about the beer selection and quality.

The staff were excellent.. "steak finger" First Timer.. next time back to the 'ho. I will most definitely be doing a sample tour to see who makes the best. . chatted expo up.. will be subbing that Asian salad for fries next time w protein.

Great brewery on Payette Lake with lots of outdoor seating. The beers were great, good variety, and the food was very good too. Can take larger groups. Service was nice and food was pretty quick. Went a couple times during our trip

Wonderful food in a beautiful location. Both the brewery and restaurant are located in the old train depot overlooking Payette Lake. They offer casual dining with classic burgers and basket meals with their own unique twist with options of elk patties. Plus an entire plethora of beers made on site with a complete wine menu. My recommendation is their Buzz Buzz Coffee Porter paired with either the Cod Fish and Chips or the Black n Blue Elk Burger, but they have plenty of other combinations as well.

Wide selection of beers, plenty brewed on-site. Menu is moderate in size but with very tasty options. Brussel sprouts were wonderful appetizers. Elk burger was really good, beef stroganoff soup was wonderful. Service was first rate. Loved the decor, especially the salmon cutout with the blue light behind.

Nice lakeside view, friendly service, try the Udaho beer.

Thank you for ruining all hot wings for the rest of my life. I could only imagine that hot wing sauce on some baby back ribs. Just wish you guys would sell me a pint of it.

Great atmosphere with a diverse menu and gluten free options. Alissa, our server was amazing, she empathized with our poor experience at a different restaurant and gave us stunning service. She honestly deserves a raise after the service she provided, very emotionally intelligent.

The fries here are fantastic! In fact, I would have given it 4 stars, but the fries were so good it swung my rating to 5 stars. Plus, they have a spicy fry sauce that's delicious. The service was mediocre and quite slow (which is a large part of why I was going to rate it 4 stars). There were a few times I thought that we had been forgotten. But, the food was generally good. The tri tip french dip was very tasty, but the fish and chips were more "fishy" tasting than most fish and chips. I know fish and chips should be fishy, but the flavor wasn't quite right. But, it was still good (just not as good as others I've had).

Checks all the boxes! Very good beer. Good food. The staff that waited on our table were responsive and polite.

On a hot summer day the rooftop patio offers shade, misters, a view of the lake, and beer to cool you off! The beer is good and the food options are good traditional pub fare. If you can make a reservation, do it. There are limited places to eat in McCall so this place can get busy on the weekends!

Absolutely love this place! Eaten here about 6 times now and just tried my sons pizza this week and was blown away! Incredible pizza dough and a pesto sauce that isn’t overly oily! Had the tri tip smoked dip as well and couldn’t set it down! The view doesn’t suck at all and the place is very comfy winter or summer. I love the staff, unique and friendly, and the bar is stocked. One of our regular spots in McCall.

I got the cod and chips and it was amazing! My husband got the cod tacos and loved them as well. Very quality food, with a fun atmosphere to eat outside and enjoy the view.

What can I say. I love this place. The bartender/server was the best. I forgot her name. She loves her job and it shows. The food was delicious, and our group loved everything they ordered. Highly Recommended.
