Howard Eckstein, MD, FAAP

Dr. Eckstein always takes his time, explains things thoroughly, and makes me feel heard as a parent! All of the staff in the office are exceptional! My children are always excited to go to the doctor, even for visits with vaccines. The staff and Dr Eckstein always go above and beyond and make sure that every visit is a positive experience for them! We couldn't be more grateful to have a pediatrician that truly cares, listens, and is thorough!

At first I wasn't sure how I felt about taking my son to see him but after a few visits I'm glad we made the choice to stick it out, he's patient and understands my son. He cares yes he is quirky but he's good at what he does, my son loves him. He truly cares, we may switch him to be his main doctor instead of just treating him for ADHD

Dr. Eckstein takes very good care of my grandson who has ADHD. He gives great advice on how to manage behaviors at home and at school. Definitely a place we feel comfortable.

Dr Eckstein, May lack in a bedside manner that we expect from a doctor but he knows his stuff. When I first met him I was very unimpressed, matter of fact I was really off put by him. Dr Eckstein does take his time, his appointments are a bit long but that is not necessarily a bad thing. When Dr E is with you, you do not realize but he is evaluating the entire time he is in that office with your child. He is watching for behavioral development as well as physical development.
So, if you don’t need to be treated with “kid gloves” about your child’s health and development then I would highly recommend him. If you cannot take the truth about how things are going with your child’s health are due to environmental factors (you/your home/diet) then I would recommend going to a different doctor. Dr Eckstein is a tell it like it is doctor. This, by all means does not mean do not advocate for your child if you feel that he is missing something absolutely insist on seeing a specialist. Not 1 doctor is perfect and not 1 doctor sees your child 24/7. Only you know what is and is not happening with your child and what goes on at home.

That being said, I respect Dr. Eckstein, his opinions and insights. I appreciate the time he takes with us. I consider him an invaluable asset for my sons care and our community.

The best pediatrician that I could ask for! My twins love him, they have been going to him since birth. He is very thorough and caring. The nurses there are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Eckstein!

He's awesome. So what your there a little longer. The kids love him. He's patient. Always a helping hand. Been going to him for almost 5 years now. Sorry all you parents are more worried about what's in your phone then what's going on with your child. Ask questions. It's okay to ask. I'd rather be over 20 mins then under 20 mins. The nurses rock!!! He rocks!!! 5 stars!!

He is talkative but it is because he is truly interested in the health and wellbeing of the child and the family. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable. He takes great care with my son.

Dr Ecketein was my kids first doctor 22 years ago, so sad he moved so far away, I will never ever forget him he is the ABSOLUTE BEST at what he does
