Motel 6 Geneva, OH

Rating is based on the brand and compared to its sister properties and other similar properties .. is it a Hilton or something, no it is not. It is a basic motel and you pay little and get little. What you get for the money though is great. The staff are very good and the room and beds are clean and comfortable.. No complaints

While this is obviously an older property, the room was VERY clean and only remotely smelled of smoke. I'm a non-smoker and this was the last room available so I took it and was pleasantly surprised - I had no problem with staying in a 'smoking' room. The guy at the front desk was courteous, helpful and thorough; the check-in process was quick and easy. The inside lobby was clean; the outside grounds were tidy and well tended. As for the room, it was clean, everything worked, there were plenty of towels, the bed was comfortable - everything was great! The sliding glass door to the outside area was a nice surprise. I will definitely stay here again!! Thanks!!!

We have stayed here a few times now and every time it has been perfect. The staff is always nice and friendly,the room is big, beds were comfortable, love being able to open the sliding glass door to let in fresh air when the temperature is cool. The "wood" floor is great. We travel with our dog and they are always so great about our furry friend. The only thing I wish they had was a mini fridge. The restaurant next door was very good and they gave us 10% off our meal so that was really cool.We will be back.

I had a great stay here. The staff was super friendly and the room was clean and well-maintained.

I have dogs and this hotel is set up really well for dogs. The room had two doors - one to the interior hallway and a sliding glass door to a small grassy area right outside the room. It was snowing and I didn't even have to leave the room to let my dogs do their business. It also made loading and unloading super easy.

We just stayed for a weekend. It's not a 4 or 5-star motel, but, the place was clean and the staff were very kind. We loved our room! It was more like a little efficiency apartment. Lovely. This motel may have the shell of an older business, but, don't let that fool you, as it is decent. We had no problems with the other guests or noise. In fact, it was very quiet and we had ourselves a nice break. And, the place is conveniently located down the road from the strip (GOTL). We will definitely stay here again.

Very very very happy with this nicely renovated, clean, convenient and homey motel. Our room was on the ground floor and had a sliding glass door to a back yard where we could conveniently take our puppy outside and the cat could look out the window and watch the rabbits and birds in the yard. Very nice place. Restaurants to walk to but yet not a city feel. Very quaint i guess you could say.

Stayed overnight for a swim meet the following day. Didn't want to make the drive early in the morning. The staff was very friendly and even recommended local places to eat since we were from out of town. Needed a couple extra pillows and they were delivered to our room within minutes of calling down and asking for them. Room was clean and a great value. Have paid much more for a lot less. Will definelty stay again!

Room was ok, clean, and bed was nice. 5 stars because the manager was very pleasant and helpful. Also had good Semi Truck and trailer parking.

Chose this motel because of great reviews by others. Never stayed in a Motel 6 before. This Motel had wood floors instead of carpet, a nice bed elevated and
thus no place for dust to hide. All fixtures worked! Nice bathroom. New design
sink in bathroom. Toilet and Shower worked with no problems, and very clean.
Good TV. HVAC unit was modern GE with very good control of temperature.
HVAC Noise was tolerable. Room Stayed comfortable. Outside and adjacent
room noise was quite low.
I am very used to finding problems in every motel when paying twice the price,
so this was a very nice and unexpected surprise.,
Would not hesitate to stay again.

My room was clean and roomy, Debbie did a great job keeping it fresh and clean. Weekly rate was reasonable. Bed comfy, fridge mid size and good Wi-Fi.

Hotel stay was awesome. Booked this hotel for an event at Spire. The staff was friendly. They hunted down a cot for me without complaint. The lobby and hallways a drab and dreary with a little smell, but the rooms were amazing. I couldn't believe how roomy and comfortable the beds were. You can't complain for the price and location to Spire.

We were given a ground floor room because we had a dog. It had a sliding glass door, with a concrete pad and then a small grassy area immediately outside. Made it really easy to take care of him! Everything else was great, too.

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice the room was! And with how quiet it was being that it was facing I-90. Great night sleep, very friendly front desk assistant. The ice machine on the second floor was out of order but a walk downstairs didn't kill me!

Superb! Came in expecting a rather run down and lack luster room by the looks of the lobby, but boy was I wrong! The room was by far one of the nicest I have ever stayed in and was completely clean. The Good Friends restaurant next door had an amazing breakfast, as well.

We have stayed here twice on our way from Indiana to Western New York.

We love the fact that it is Pet Friendly.

The rooms are HUGE, clean and nice.

Right next door is one of the best home cooked meal restaurants I have ever eaten at while on the road, and the price is right.

I would suggest this motel for anyone with pets who wants to have a nice stay with their pet.

Currently still staying here but the service is GREAT! Super polite ! Nice rooms and a big space for my cats to run. The guy that checked me in ( Tim I believe) was super greeting and a mood uplifter!

OH MY GOSH!!!! This has got to be the most amazing hotel ever. Called one night around 8pm and they said the had a few rooms, but could hold one without a reservation. When I arrived at the hotel, the person behind the desk was super kind. He made sure the accommodations were made, and that everything was taken care of. Upon getting to the room, I saw it was large clean and even had a balcony. I've been to a couple other motel 6s and never seen anything as nice as this. They did not have free breakfast, but there is a local breakfast restaurant across the parking lot in walking distance.

Nice clean room with great consideration for our pet dog Milla... first floor accommodation with door wall access to multi acreage mowed yard to rear of motel.
Motel personnel very courteous and accommodating!
I hope other travelers read this review and consider Motel 6 as their stayover.
However, no Kleenex nor shampoo. John K

Motel 6 is my motel of choice. Loved the deep tub my room had as I do not have a tub at my residence. Was quiet ( some can be noisy depending on the neighborhood they are in ) . The man working the counter was efficient and friendly.

If I was in the area ( I live in San Diego Ca ) I would for sure stay at this Motel 6 location again.

The people working at the reception were amazing. We had ordered pizza before leaving the downtown and our taxi was late picking us up. The delivery guy left our pizza with the reception. She was so understanding and the kindness was greatly appreciated!!!
