This was our second visit to
This park. So we knew what to expect with it being totally in the middle of no where. Sometimes that’s just what we are looking for. The park is lovely and the Rv spots are definitely more roomy then most. We love that this park is close to the bike trail which is also just beautiful. We had a full hook up site at the back of the park and same as last time. It was very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet nature set park this park is for you.

This place is a great overall campsite for Solo, couples, or families. Their campsites are nicely spaced to give some breathing room and also have specific lot parking for two cars each lot and they dedicated fire ring. This place also has a swimming pool that you can use between 10:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. . There is plenty of area to walk around and enjoy the scenery as well as an on-site lake that you can take a canoe out on. I grew up coming to this place and still come here to this day.

Park is clean, quiet and well managed. Office staff, Jaslynn is among the best of the best in customer service. She is pleasant, helpful and efficient at her job. This park is so nice we asked to extend our stay. The policies in this park are spot on!! The manager and Miss Jaclynn should be applauded for their efforts.
We will go out of our way to return.

Our family loves it here! They have a small swimming pool that the kids love! There is a gaga pit, mini putt putt, and a basketball court. Everyone is so friendly, staff and visitors! There is a beautiful lake that you can fish in!

Lovely, generous, full-hookup sites, lots of trees, friendly staff, well maintained, and close to Lake Erie. I especially appreciated that we could wash our vehicles for only $5 each.

A wonderful Thousand Trails campground. Lots of trees for shade and every site is spacious. The lake is beautiful and we enjoyed taking a row boat out for a bit. The staff was incredible. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and helpful.

We always enjoy coming to this park. Although our site was a “buddy” site and very small compared to other sites we nonetheless enjoyed our time at the park and in the area. We appreciate the park management for having activities that included a band while we were there. We will definitely be back.

Thought while I had some time, I would pass on my evaluation of Kenisee Lake RV in Ohio. Overall it is Beautiful and well taken care of. They charge $3 per day for 50 amp service. It is well worth it to us. The site is level with power, water & sewer in excellent condition. I believe they have 120v, 30 amp & 50 amp. Not one issue with any of those services. They did have an extremely informative welcome packet with local businesses that deliver pizza etc. To the front gate of the park as well as what things there are to do during the stay. Management suggested using ICU (Independent camping Units) for bathroom as much as possible to help with health concerns. Staff is once again outstanding. Resort is quiet and peaceful with geese making their nightly pilgrimages across the grounds. If there was anything that might be a 4 in a 5 scale is you must use their firewood at $6 a bundle which is fine. Something about outside bugs being brought into the grounds. Great Resort and would encourage anyone to stay here!

The campground was quiet. Just a few folks around but as Friday came on, more folks began arriving and settling in. The pool was a good walk from our site. The days we were there the winds had kicked up and if it wasn’t tied down, it flew. The facilities were clean and nice that there were some close to the pool though not in the same building.

We visited family over the weekend and camped in the primitive area. It was nice and not far from a bath house. The heated pool, 18 hole putt putt and pond for fishing was well within walking distance to our site. The site was well marked, had a newer fire ring, a grass pad for camp and a newly stained picnic table. We would recommend this area for a weekend get away.

We absolutely loved this park! Lush green grass everywhere, our site was long, hookups great. Large grass area between each site. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The roads are gravel and wide enough for our big rig. There was a picnic table and fire ring in each site. There was a pool, miniature golf, basketball court and a large grassy area for softball or other sports. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Assigned sites to travelers — thank you!

Beautiful campground: green grass & trees, lots of space! Big, wide pull-thru sites for travelers. Longer term residents are together, nice community.

We really appreciate assigned space at check-in! We have given up on TT in general because it’s always stressful having to find our own spot (40’ Class A) and getting stuck in-between longer term residents. Glad we saw that comment in another review or we would not have booked. Wonderful campground!

We had a great time here plus the staff were really friendly and helpful. They have a nice setup with lots of fun things to do. Bathrooms are clean and the pull thru spots are a good size for our 44 foot fifth wheel. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

We stayed here for one night and even with that limited stay, we know this park is NICE.

This has got to be the quietest park we have ever stayed in, and is so well-kept. The sites are long and very wide, with a fire pit, table, and grassy area. The roads are gravel and I thought they were kind of on the narrow side, but certainly manageable.

We arrived after-hours and called earlier in the day to notify the office. They were very helpful and registration/info pick-up was really easy. Usually with Thousand Trails it’s an ‘arrive and find a spot’ situation, but here, they assigned a spot, which is awesome, especially when you arrive after dark.

The full time spots here were so well-done, as opposed to other locations where they seem run down. The bathrooms were really clean and maintained.

This is one of the nicest Thousand Trails we’ve stayed at and I highly recommend. Only wish we were staying longer so we could’ve used the baseball field and playground!

Rented a cabin, everything was as it should be. Roomy, new and modern. Meticulously cleaned.

Everything about our stay at Kenissee Lakes RV was awesome. Smooth check in, great site assigned and the park has exceptionally kept grounds. We walked around and explored the ponds. Lots of outdoor games set up, great pool but it had the cover on early so not sure if it was open/gate was locked. Clean bath houses. Hot water. Friendly people, overall just a flawless experience. We only stayed one night, would definitely plan to come back and stay longer.

We spent three weekdays here and were very impressed. Staff was friendly, common buildings and restrooms were clean, all were in good shape. Roads all looked brand new. Lots were large, with well-mowed grassy areas so we didn't feel cramped into an RV parking lot. It appeared that the majority of sites were seasonal (people were friendly) and from the items left unattended we gathered security was not an issue, we felt safe. Close to Lake Erie/Geneva on the Lake. Highly recommend a visit here.

I have been camping here with my family for four seasons. I have to clear up some allegations recently posted as a review. First, no member of the staff here will EVER yell, scream, or curse in your face. That is just not something that happens here. Secondly, ALL dogs must be on a leash. It doesn’t matter if you are a veteran annual or a weekend camper. If your dog is seen without a leash and roaming freely, you will be asked POLITELY to leash the animal appropriately. They do not discriminate against any type of dog. In fact, I’ve seen pits there. It is always the owners responsibility of the animal. Lastly, yes there is catch and release. However, many campers eat what they catch-that’s the purpose of the fish cleaning station. No annual is held in a higher regard than any transient, weekender, or traveler. We welcome ALL campers to join in our weekly planned activities and introduce yourselves around. It’s a very friendly and welcoming place to be. I’ve also read lots of reviews saying that the best sites are reserved for annuals only. This is not true. Annuals spend hundreds, sometimes thousands of their own dollars to fix up those lots. Any addition to the lots must be reviewed and accepted by management. While there is a lot of undeveloped areas where sites can be, it is NOT the fault of the staff there or the manager. Believe me, requests have been made. This camp is just about at capacity for bookings each weekend so of course picking your own site is not going to happen here anymore. In the short time the manager has been there, the putt putt course has been rebuilt, the theme weekends have been amazing, the camper participation has improved, the park is better maintained, and there is a very long list of campers waiting to get in. Don’t always count the angry and vulgar “reviews” as truths. Visit the camp for yourself to see the friendly people, helpful staff, awesome family friendly activities.

We loved our stay at Kenisee Lake! Our site was amazing!! It was large and level! Park is quiet with lots to do. They work hard at keeping the pot holes, caused by the rain, filled in and level. Staff was kind and helpful. Overall excellent experience.
