Byron Lake Park

Very clean, nice staff, and I love that there is a kiddie pool and even that is separated into 2 parts for the tiny littles and the in between kids. Life guards at all pools, the slide is amazing for kids who are good swimmers. Changing quarters, showers, bathrooms all clean and available.

Very nice park with a playground for kids, it has a small lake with lots of turtle inside that come near you looking for food. It also has a barbecue area with tables to sit on. There is also a very nice pool with a slide which is pretty fun to bring your kids and have an awesome time

Nice place to take a pool day. A bit busy with camps until 3pm. Well staffed. Plenty of Chaise lounges, good shade available. Clean bathrooms locker areas, plenty of parking nice snack bar. Water Temps is on the cold side!

It's a great pool until certain idiots come and want to disrespect older people who take their Grandchildren to have fun. They should be thrown out. Otherwise the staff is wonderful and kind.

Was a member when I was a kid, had to take a shower first before entering the pool and had to wear a shower cap. I loved seeing the ducks and turtles in the pond area of the park. We had a Country house at W.O.R.C. on Montawlk hwy next to LaSalle Military Academy in the 1960's into the 1980's. So nice to see the park and pool is still there. Cherish it!

This is the go to pool, the workers keep it clean. You have to get there early or all the seats with shade are gone. My only complaint the women bathroom needs to be checked and cleaned threw out the day especially on the weekends

This place is amazing and the all employees are nice , my kids enjoy every summer there . The swimming lesson are good and the teacher are good with the kids .

Very pretty park. Be careful with small children because of the water and the bridge. Very quiet and nice.

I LOVE THIS PLACE BEEN GOING FOR YEARS. BUT I DON'T LIKE THE FACT THEY KEEP CHANGING PRICES. I GOT A REC CARD WICH I PAID FOR TO GET IN MY FEE WOULD HAVE BEEN 8$ AND YOU HAVE TO LIVE IN THE TOWN OF ISLIP. IF YOU DON'T YOU HAVE TO PAY 12$ .BUT THEY SEEM TO CHARGE EVERY ONE 8$ ITS NOT RIGHT. I LIKE THE FACT THEY CHARGE OUTSIDERS MORE IT KEEPS THE ASSHOLES OUT. BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING THIER JOB. IM GOING TO CALL AND COMPLAIN TO RECREATION. WHY DID I PAY FOR THIS CARD????

The pool is great , I really enjoyed the time I spent with my family at the park too.

great spot for year round fun, take a pleasant stroll around the lake, watch some ducks, or hop in the pool with the giant slide in the summer

Nice public pool with a cool windy slide. The pool is very large and not crowded.

You can bring your one food, they also have a little concession stand with reasonable prices.

Very nice friendly kid place..food is very good and not very expensive ..my daughter loved it !!!
