Taco John's

Man, this is still my favorite place for tacos! Love their grilled chicken burrito and the potato Oles are my fav. Good service, good food, clean restaurant. Very happy!

I had the Nacho's. They were good. Also had a MT. Dew. They didn't give us any straws with our order. We had to wait on our food even though we did an online order and we took awhile before we got there. The apple grande was good.

Good food and great service food, and the manager that was at the register showed me what the choices were and paid attention to us while we ordered our food at Taco John's Restaurant on Rice St. Street, St. Paul, MN 55126.

Really thought given the name that this place wouldn't be too good. I was wrong! Absolutely not real Mexican food BUT Absolutely better than taco bell.

Plus it was night shift and there was only one guy and he did amazing!!

Oh the goodness of being freshly made for you with real ingredients! Many traditional items to choose from and always a Special on tacos for Taco Tuesday! Very clean and a step up from any other fast food Mexican food. Maybe a minute or two longer..but you know it's Freshly made for you! Clean and tidy. Love the atsmophere, plenty of seating!

I highly recommend the chicken quesadila if you have kids! It's literally just chicken & cheese.

I love the stuffed grilled taco. My husband loves the chicken burrito & the glazed donut bites.

Unfortunately this location only has there drive thru open so you can't dine so the drive thru can get pretty long. But it's worth it.

Everything is pretty good here. Crispy chicken has always come out fresh which is my favorite. Would say this is a busier location than any other one I go to so that can be a bummer when going through the drive through

Stopped in at 7pm on a Monday night. Cashier was nice and the food was amazing. I ordered 2 tacos and the meat was hot and fresh ingredients. The potato oles were hot and everything was seasoned just right. This place is how taco John's should be. So whoever is back in the kitchen making the food keep up the great work!

Quick, in and out. Was greeted right away.

Don't forget to ask for salsa!

Got a 6 pack and a pound, almost 18 bucks now! Crazy! Got home - i live 20 miles from this taco johns - rice st. And 694 - open the bag and the guy gave me hard shell tacos, i friggin hate hard shell tacos! I clearly told him softshells, so i had potato oles for dinner.

I decided to go inside to get our food, I'm glad I did!!! Very nice and friendly worker's which is a change from some places I've been. Thanks!

The staff are all amazing. The food is always hot and fresh. They are always kind and friendly. One young man paid for my meal out of his pocket as an act of kindness! Life it tough right now. No one has time for drama at a fast food spot and a lot of folks are tense and rude these days! #potatooleaddict

Love potato oles, the food was fresh and quick

I'm staring to get fat as I age and I decided to enduldge in some johns. I picked a nice lavish selection of foods, mostly on the dollar money. Everything was fresh and crispy. The cashier just left an EDM show before his shift and was very quick and friendly. I would return here.

Loved the drive thru staff!! Longer line, but... the staff made it seem short! Food came up fast and out we went. Deeelish!! Washed it all done with an ICE COLD Dew! Thanks for a great lunch TJ!!

The girls working here were super friendly and helpful. They even brought our orders to our table with a smile. The building was clean inside and outside. There was a salsa, hot sauce and jalapeno station next to the fountain drinks. Nice place with a Subway next door.

It's not that easy to get into the parking lot from Rice street. But, if you can figure it out.. the ppl are great, the food is great, and there was only 2 other ppl In the place. Come on go to TACO JOHN'S

Employees at the drive thru and cooks did an excellent job. I finally tried a beef taco salad for the first time ever. I did this because Taco Bell does not serve taco Salads or Mexican pizzas any longer. I wish that Taco John's would add a thin layer of refried beans on the bottom of the taco bowl. The taco bowl had a real nice crunch and taste to it. I added 5 packages of mild hot sauce to the salad. There was something that had a bite to the salsa on the salad. My tongue had a slight burn to it for a few minutes after taking a bite. I really enjoyed the salad. Since I had not had a taco salad at Taco John's before I wanted to go into the order counter and discover what was in the salad. I parked the car and walked over to the door, grabbed the handle only to notice that it was locked. I looked inside and there were about 10 people having a meeting. I was a little ticked off that they just didn't hold the meeting in a corner of the restaurant and still have the restaurant open for business. The drive thru was open and the person who took my order explained with great accuracy what was in the beef taco salad. I had not been in this restaurant on Rice Street and 694 since it was remodeled. I have been in the old one many, many times.
