Lakes of the North Campground

Great campground with excellent staff. All the playgrounds and activities for the kids helps them enjoy it even more. There are lots of bikes to use so it makes for much less things to lug with you. Put-out, horse shoes, basketball court are just some of the things
to occupy your time.

First off, I'm new to camping, so I was hoping to meet some nice people and I've not been disappointed. Everyone we've met from fellow campers to the AMAZING campground managers, have been so kind and helpful. Honestly, very nice people. I couldn't be happier with my choice to buy property in Lakes of The North, and then deciding to utilize and enjoy the campground while starting to build.
If you're thinking of visiting this campground for a weekend or even longer like we are, I very highly recommend it, and I hope to meet you.

One of the last bright amenities of living or owning property at LoN. It's been well managed by Mike and Kate Major. We had family stay here and it was good experience. I would recommend this place to family and friends stay at.

Great place to catch a few nights around a camp fire ...brand new bathrooms are spotless and very modern , water and electric hookups available as well .. great manager who makes sure everyone is following the rules but won't bug you unless you're being loud after hours ...very family oriented.. lots of parks , toys and bikes available for the kids ... bring some fire wood from the local gas station

The staff is wonderful and very friendly. The campground is clean and very family oriented with many activities for all ages. I can't wait to go back next summer!

Simply wonderful!! There's so many fun things to do I'm impossible for kids to even think about being bored! Beautiful campsites, modern clean facilities, indoor pool with lazy river and hot tub, clubhouse, two beach lakes, all year round sports and organized activities....great people!!

Absolutely the best care and hospitality, Jim and Dottie make you feel like your home, if you need help or advice Jimi's right there to lend a hand or solve a problem the atmosphere is fun peaceful and quiet, and we have met some nice people. *****

My grandpa has been renting a lot here since I was 7, I love going here to watch the meteor showers and visit places in upper Michigan. I also come here during the winter to snow mobile on the many trails.

Great campground. Has all kinds of games, movie night. Quiet will stay more often.
