Dr Hamilton is not well-trained regarding tick-borne diseases. He was reckless, irresponsible, rude and disrespectful to my adult daughter & I. She went into the Sanford hospital emergency room more than once because she literally felt like she was dying. She had multiple tick born disease symptoms which were very obvious. Instead of helping my daughter which is his job he told her she was crazy and making up the symptoms in her head. I am sick to my stomach knowing that this man is practicing medicine. His ignorance is dangerous in my opinion. I took her back to the Sandord ER so she could get started on the Doxy antibiotic that is needed to fight Lyme disease after her blood panel showed that she was positive. The CDC recommends you immediately go on that medicine if you test positive for Lyme disease. They recommend you do not wait. When I told him that he said that was wrong. He completely ignored all her symptoms he dismissed everything she said and then he attempted to do that in front of Mama Bear which was definitely a mistake on his part. I don't care if you're an educated or trained person. If you're going to be rude to me I'm going to give it right back 10 times worse.
