We had MCA respond to our 911 call recently and I cannot express how happy we are with the service provided. The paramedics went above and beyond to help calm our daughter calm down and make sure she was safe. Our daughter is autistic and the situation was very traumatic for her. They got to her level, took their time to let her calm down and even ended up doing vitals in my bed where our daughter was most comfortable. They checked vitals while spinning the wheels on her toy bus to make her happy. The cherry on top was when they invited her to come outside to see the "boo boo bus" and check out the lights and sirens when they leave. Thank you so much for your kindness. We will never forget it!

On 10/23/16 you saved this old Paramedics life. You guys did an outstanding job taking me to Promedica Regional Monroe Hospital and getting stabilized and transferred again by you folks to Beaumont Royal Oak. I wanted to say thank you. You were very professional and provided topnotch care. Keep up the good work.

I was a bit disappointed that MCA could not offer me the courtesy first responder bill reduction just because I did not work in their response area. I can’t imagine that is given out a lot so why would it make a difference just because I’m not in their coverage area? I live in the coverage area and needed their service. Aside from that the BLS unit seemed nice and professional.

Some are new, but they usually get it right.

Beware you can get a surprise bill nearly a year later and all they can say is oh sorry we have a year to follow up but let it slip that shortly after they were trying to "find insurance to bill" when they could have just contacted me to ask for my insurance info. Too late now so I'm stuck with the bill when I didn't call for their help nor did they do anything for me besides check my BP following an accident. So just a heads up they'll bill you outrageously for doing nothing and send a bill whenever they feel like it.

My two year old son who has a congenital heart condition was coughing and wheezing and having a hard time catching his breath and so we called 911. Paramedics come out and were very dismissive because oxygen and vitals were “normal”. One of the paramedics even asked us if he was our first child. Actually, no but what does that have to do with anything? That was very rude, inappropriate, insensitive, and insulting. I will always be an advocate for my children. I’m their mother, and I know when something is wrong. Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital treated us with the same dismissive attitude and couldn’t figure out what was wrong with our son for both ER trips that lasted seven hours on the same night. Our son’s wheezing and coughing got worse the next day and we took him to Toledo Hospital where he received the proper care and treatment he deserved. He was diagnosed with the Croup, and we were there for only 45 minutes. Please learn to be more sensitive and understanding to the people who are calling YOU for help.

Monroe county ambulance, in a short story basically dropped me off at the hospital, didn’t ask for any insurance information, and tacked almost a 1,000$ on my credit, and don’t wanna take the information over the phone to fix it. Your better off crawling to the hospital. Wish I could give you no stars you scammers.

Took the squad 23 minutes to get to the house. 62year old shortness of breath, anaphylactic shock. Didn’t start an iv. Seemed like two incompetent guys.

I was appalled at The crew on Saturday night around midnight how non shalon they were about a life saving attempt. My neighbor looked to be in serious trouble and the ambulance crew was talking about nonsence and could care less about saving my neighbor but only cared about taking their sweet time. My wife was just as shocked.....
