Margaret Chase Smith School

Very lovely and accomadating school. I went here as a child and have nothing but fond memories of the school. Now my children also attend this school and the principal and staff have been very active and accommodating of my son's multiple life threatening food allergies. They really have gone above and beyond what I expected and made me feel very safe about my child being in their care.

I'll start off with the good; I love the teachers here! They're so kind and outgoing. However, I did one time have a bad experience with the administration, changing the way I think about this institution. As a child, I was able to fit in so well here, and the teachers made sure of that. The campus is quite amazing, too, with glass ceilings so you can actually see the sky above you. There's no child I've heard about who's been bullied at this school. One thing I feel that this school could improve upon however is their punishments. If you do something stupid at recess as a little itty bitty second grader, you'll receive a pretty harsh punishment. Props to the staff.
