Alliant Energy

So I am not a fan of Alliant energy so when I had to call them today I was not looking forward to the experiment. However I was pleasantly surprised when Peggy answered and helps me with all of my issues. She was so kind and helpful. They definitely need to pay her more because she went above and beyond

We just got done setting up new service and the customer service representative was so nice and helpful. (Wish I would have got his name) wait time was only 4 to 7 minutes long.

Years ago when i went from my apartment back to my parents and had to shut off my account they were very nice and said if I needed a credit reference they would speak for me. Now im a home owner and my house lines were sagging. The guy they sent out informed me the lines were other companies but he took the time to make sure the electric one was raised up higher while he was out. Thank you.

My husband and I want to thank Alliant for courteous and quick customer service Saturday 7/12/2020. They removed a limb off a stressed powerline to our house. Thank you!!!

Utilities are simple. Your service is provided, you pay your bill. Period. If you have a problem with a utility company, it's because you're a moron.

I just set up a new electricity account and the reps were great. They were extremely helpful and courteous.

The website pay options are currently not working as of this morning around 10 A.M. The site is normally glitchy and the current bill due does not post on the weekend but I could navigate that until now.
I had a payment scheduled and this does not need to be so difficult.

I was nervous about calling because of all of the negative reviews, but the customer service was very easy and friendly. I called in to set up a new account and my only issue was the overshare of information. The customer service representative gave me a lot more information that i needed that extended the call longer than necessary.

Customer service could use some attention. Also a payment drop box would be nice.

Friendly staff.

As much as I hate not having options, Alliant is all we have. Pro: I have electricity, Cons: cost is way to high.
