It's really a shame that they took out all the rose bushes. They just needed to be tended to. I grew up here in CR. I knew this as the "Rose Garden" A block up at Redmond where the splash pad is located... Every winter we waited excitedly soon they put in the ice skating rinks. They'd bring in the little building to warm up n put your skates on. They were skattered throughout the city.
I remember one time my shoes were gone.
I hadda walk home in my skates . I wore
Boys hockey skates,I wanted to be hockey player one day... Any how the streets were mainly brick... It took a long time ... I got in trouble..
