A beautiful place for a walk or run, anytime of day. Trails are wide and loop through a nice flat path that gives a beautiful view. It's an every day visit for me.

Wild raspberries are ripe water lillies in bloom, mosquito population not too awful, good time for a walk or fishing.

A very nice spot to come to if your into model planes. This area comes equiped with a well maintained paved runway completed by a large plot of daisies to cruise your RC plane above. I also like to come here due to it's proximity to the Cedar River where I tend to do a lot of my fishing if I decide to stay in town to enjoy such an activity. There is a little beach like area if you know where to look if you want to chat up the more watercraft efficient and don't own a boat yourself. An all around great spot to meet up and have a picnic if you so choose.

Currently very noisy due to dump trucks driving through to dump rocks along the river, presumably for flood control. Otherwise a nice and quiet park with meadows, the river and a couple swimming holes. They also have an RC airfield.

Great scenery! There is the Iowa river right next to the park. people on boats tend to gather at a small beach, it's a great time. Very family friendly nice place for the make believe photographer. All gravel roads just so you know.

This is a very well kept clean park, a few spots with water fountains, bathrooms a nice spot to sit and watch the river. Highly reccomend checking it out.

Excellent paths along the Cedar River lined by naturally forming sand dunes, tons of dead fall and driftwood, as well as the river itself. Also a drone / rc airplane course, community gardens, and tons of wildlife. Oh, and! And a farming museum and a jet fighter just sitting there! Cool park. Definitely recommend.

Great old time events like civil and WWII

Nice park with lots of open space and green grass. Plenty of trees for shade on super warm days and lots of trails and paths to follow. I frequently walk dogs here and they love it!

Fun place to walk around and great place for a cross country meet. We'll maintained trails and fields.

Good place to play cricket. This place has two pitches.

Really nice park when the river is low. It's very susceptible to flooding. It's got great open areas for dogs and trails through the woods.
