Wonderful place to kayak, paddle board or jet ski/boat. River is open and wide allowing you to have almost limitless distance. Beautiful in the morning and afternoon. Would be careful kayaking pst sunset due to limited visibility. Was able to rent a perfect paddle board at SOKO Outfitters who also provided a large variety of kayak rentals as well. Staff setup the board on top of my car extremely helpful and nice. All equipment was top notch and clean. Including life vests something that’s usually a rarity.

Definitey not a bad spot for picniking, fishing, or just walking around hanging out. As far as swimming goes I'm not 100 percent sure you can swim here. So you may want to look for signs before you enter the water here for a fun day in the sun. Kind of a difficult spot to fish. I have most certainly caught bluegil, bass, and channel catfish. But it is my opinion there are many better places to fish in and around Cedar Rapids.

Has a nice, quiet, relaxing view. There is a nice grill down there and a pavillion. There is also a boat ramp down there.

Loved it. I spent the whole day there

This was the first time I ever put my own boat on the Cedar River! The ramp at Mohawk Park was just fine and the dock that was provided allowed us to get in and out of the boat. Having lived in Cedar Rapids all my life oh, the Cedar River was always something to look at and never to go fishing in! Believe it or not. So this was an all-time first. No fish story here, we didn't catch anything!

Great park when it's not flooded

Lovely place to gather, wish there were more bathrooms.

Boat ramp that is easily accessible for anyone. No fee. Picnic tables, restrooms, and walking distance to back waters where you can get in some great fishing and swimming.

It has nice pavilion right on the river, with boat dock.
Good for fishing.
Not suitable for kids at all.
No fencing on the river.

Great park best boat ramp on the cedar hands down. I Don't put the boat in anywhere else.

Got in the water, it's very warm and fun when you have someone to play with.

First time there. Had the ribs. Very meaty. Staff was cordial. Definitely will go back.

Beautiful place to watch eagles and enjoy the day

Great Park with a fantastic frisbee golf course. Always a nice walk through the woods, serene, and relaxing.
