Need Pizza

Probably the best pizza place in Cedar Rapids top notch! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and a pleasing texture of crispy crust! The staff were so polite & the pizza wasn’t too expensive, a large which is HUGE was $18. And the atmosphere where do I start? They had TVs to see your favorite sport, had beautiful paintings and had an Aquarium! I recommend this place if you are finding good pizzerias in Cedar Rapids

Hands down they have the best pizza in town! The crust was baked to perfection - crispy with the right amount of sauce and cheese. We ordered a large and split half to be pepperoni and the other half to be pep and sausage. It was plenty for 4 people with a couple of slices left over. The price was super reasonable for a pizza of that size. Service was also on point !

Great place. Great for those late nights partying. The mashed potato bacon pizza is to die for! A great place for beer and pizza. I will be back.

Went in with my husband since he was still hungry after work. The place had a decent crowd and there was a concert outside with a lot of people. All the workers were really nice and the pizza was really good. One of the workers who was serving us had apparently been there for years and I was really impressed with how he helped us build our pizza and how nice/chill he was. Queso dip was really good and pizza was really good, I wasn't even hungry but I ended up stealing a little bit of both from my husband. 10/10

It is wonderful to find a vegan option and be able to enjoy without losing the flavors of a traditional pizza 10/10, the service is too good, all the staff is very attentive.

We ordered a custom pizza and picked it up. We're from Michigan and my husband says this is the best pizza he's ever had. When we are back in town we'll definitely stop in and dine in. I recommend this place for pizza, it's worth the wait.

Ate here our first night in Iowa! Absolutely loved it! Wish we had been staying longer so we could’ve ate there twice lol!!! Our server was friendly and the pizza was awesome! We both got the individual pizzas. My hubby had just pepperoni on his, I had pepperoni and sausage!! So delicious!! We would’ve liked to have seen some breadsticks on the menu and a nacho cheese option, but unfortunately they didn’t have any. My hubby had two beers that he liked quite well. Crater of Delusion and Ruthie…give them a try! Will definitely eat here again if we are ever in the area again!

Stopped in here on a recommendation of a friend while on a quick trip to Cedar Rapids. Place was absolutely packed, i assume because of the Iowa game and a concert at Alliant Powerhouse arena, but i was able to get a seat at the bar. Bartenders were both very friendly, as were the people around me. Despite the place being packed out, the my pizza came out relatively quickly, still hot, fully cooked and the bartenders gave me an option on non-alcoholic drinks. Atmosphere was fun and inviting as well. If i'm ever back in Cedar Rapids, I would 100% re-visit this place.

Very good pizza and a nice restaurant. My only complaint is for those of us getting older is that it's a dark restaurant with very yellow lighting which makes it hard to read menus etc. But still great pizza.

I walked through the door and mentally shrugged. It's a really unpretentious place; I figured I was in for some conventional pizza. Hopefully it'd be good. Whoa, did I underestimate this place! I'm not from here, but if I was I'd eat here all the time. It's a slightly new style for me (more than thin crust but less than traditional) but among the best I've ever had. They really, really get it right. It's not an accident, either. The owner (presumably) was going from table to table talking to the customers. We talked about each ingredient - how and why he chose it, how it was prepared. The care and effort they put into the pizza is off the charts. There's a near flawless balance in the quality and quantity of the ingredients. Just go; recommended without reservation.

My family and I have been to Need Pizza multiple times now and every time has been outstanding. The service, the food, the beer, the atmosphere, all outstanding. I always end up ordering one of the weekly specials because they are always so creative and tasty. My fiancé has to eat dairy-free and says that their dairy-free cheese is the best. My daughter is absolutely in love with their skillet chocolate chip cookie. The beer selection is always varied and makes me think hard about which one I want to try. Keep up the great work Need Pizza!

Great pizza! Joe the bartender and Aaron the cook are rock stars. Also i lost my wallet there over night, the staff found it and returned it to me the next day with every penny intact! My Pie = Large White Sauce with Clam, Bacon, Mushroom, and Artichoke Heart. Red sauce classics, New Haven style, build your own. Love having to wait for my carry out so I can whack down a few of the choice craft and micros that they have on tap. One of the best Pizza's in the city

Perfect combination of crispy and chewy crust. A medium pizza is equivalent to others large. Toppings are fresh and well proportioned. Parking in downtown Cedar Rapids isn't the greatest, but our server Jaylynn made our visit worth the hassle. LOL

Lexi was great. We arrived a little later than we would have liked, but Lexi took care of us with professionalism and poise despite being closer to closing. Food was also fantastic!

Wow. When I first bit into my pizza, I said this is great pizza! I sat at the bar waiting for carryout and bartender took good care of me. I will come back the next time I'm in town.

Second time ordering from here and I'm happy with what they offer. As a pescatarian, I get more options than others to order that fits to my diet. Love their fresh dough and vegan chicken, vegan meatball, vegan sausage are yummy. 😋

Delicious pizza with great service (Lexie and Meg - I went twice! ). Very affordable too. This is definitely the better pizza if you’re trying to decide between NP and Tipsy Tomato. I also picked up a shirt to bring back home.

The best pizza in Iowa even in the America! The taste is amazing to me, and beer is fantastic as well. All the crews are rather friendly to us especially the bartender. My friends and I come here every week, and we enjoy the food and atmospheres. I am going to back to China soon, and I may not come back again. However, this is a special place for me and I will miss here.
