Cedar Rapids Public Library - Ladd Library

The employees are always so friendly and helpful no matter what your needs are. We are very fortunate to have them. I am grateful how they can place an order from the other branches to get a book, video or other media.

Good library nearby other locations. Downtown Cedar rapids library is by far the best one yet. Still need to go to another library.

Quiet and. Great place to do work or to just enjoy access to wifi, magazines and books. Bring a sweater, l get chilled sitting there.

Librarian helped my son and I find a bunch of spooky kid books. She was very friendly. Then another two librarians helped me take care of updating our cards and such. One gave my son a "goody bag" with fun learning activities to do and color. Everybody was very nice and helpful. Thank you!!

I love the Cedar Rapids library! They have a great selection of books and media material. If you're looking for something they don't have, you can actually request that the library purchase it to borrow and they almost always get it in for you. The staff and volunteers are wonderful---so friendly and knowledgeable. They also have great programming. There is something for everyone at the Cedar Rapids Library!

This library not only has a vast selection of books and movies, but a food bank that is available on Tuesday and Thursday.

They also have electronic audio books as well as movies that you don't have to worry about being returned.

It has free wifi inside as well as internet availability for computers which is provided.

Very friendly staff and full copy/fax/scanner/printer facilities. You are allowed up to 25 pages free for print per day.

New activities every month for my 4 year old and I both to enjoy. Plus books, CDs, movies, audio books, lap tops, computers, and magazines make it really enjoyable and easy to get things done. The staff is also very helpful.

Beautiful space. Friendly and helpful staff. Community room is great to rent for meetings and small events. Very COVID-19 conscious.

I appreciate that they have curbside printing and 25 free printing pages. I've utilized that so often! Quiet place to sit and read. I admire the dim lighting as well

This is my favorite library in Cedar Rapids area. The librarians have so much knowledge and they seem to really enjoy the patrons. I, my daughter and four grandkids all enjoy our "FAMILY TRIPS TO LADD!"

Nice selection of books

My Library is very helpful. They are committed to the community and help with local food drives, and offer the community a place to go to use free internet and have access to knowledge and educational tools.

A welcome addition to the west side of town. Decent selection of books, media, and resources for a library of its size.

Great place to find kids books for my classroom and easy to use computers for research.
