Holiday Inn Express Cedar Rapids (Collins Rd), an IHG Hotel

Excellent stay. Large clean and updated rooms. Bathroom is nice sized as well with plenty of hot water. Bed and pillows very comfortable for my taste. Great location. Plenty of food choices in the local area.

It was not very good experiance as the elevator was out of order, going on 3 weeks , and we had a second floor room (1st floor was full) and we had to haul our luggage and purchases to our room. Even helped other guests who were on the 3rd floor.
There was NO compensation for the inconvenience of elevator. So check to see before you book if the elevator is fixed....

We understand things happen. Bur when the elevator is out. You don't have to put people on 3rd floor then send them to the furthest stair case away from their room to have keys not work. Not a great customer service experience. Room was great. Customer service sucked.

Was in town for a college baseball game. Staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, good enough and hits the spot.
Great for groups! Had a team dinner and staff was super helpful facilitating it.

Very clean, friendly, service is great. Samantha does an awesome job. That's the only place we stay in cedar rapids.

Everything was great. It's exactly what I expected. I've stayed at 40+ holiday inns. This one is in the top 10s.

My hotel stay here was excellent! The room was very clean and had so many good amenities. It was nice, warm, and relaxing especially during a blizzard when my heat went out in my apartment. The staff was so nice and understanding and even let me bring my pet so she wouldn’t freeze in my apartment!

You’ve to experience the hospitality here extended by the front desk. Ryan is the warmest person I’ve been at made to few welcomes at, at any hotel and I travel a lot!

The rooms are spic clean, and tremendous thanks to the housekeeping staff there. Diligent and sincere.

And the highlight for all Holiday Inn chains, is the variety of warm breakfast they offer, compared to some other chains I’ve been at. Tasteful, fresh and something for everyone.

When I return to Cedar Rapids, will certainly stay there.

This was a great Holiday Inn Express experience! The girl at the front desk was friendly, the rooms were newly remodeled and clean, comfy beds and pillows, AC was cold, good water pressure for the shower, and the room itself is much larger than a typical newly built Holiday Inn Express, as you can tell this was an older building, back when the rooms were designed with lots of square footage. But again, the rooms were newly remodeled and trendy with todays' styles and decor. My daughter used the gym late at night with the easy 24 hour key access.

The room was adequate; the second room for our party had a chaise lounge which I had never seen in a hotel room before
The Continental breakfast had a wide selection. We were not bothered by any noise despite having part of a youth soccer team on our floor.

WOW! The staff at this hotel is nothing short of amazing. I am a travel nurse and needed a place to stay last minute; I had to find a place to accommodate my needs. I was having a horrible day and Amy did everything in her power to help me. She took all my stress away. Ryan was also a huge help in answering questions and making me feel at home. The cleaning staff was very friendly and were pleasant to talk to. I never thought I would say this about a hotel, but they made me feel like family. Whenever I come to Cedar Rapids, I will be staying here! In addition to the nice staff, the rooms are so clean! The whole hotel is well kept and organized. The breakfast was also good. I literally have nothing bad to say about this place.

Friendly staff. Very clean and large rooms. Close to many different things I needed in town and to both hospitals. Good variation of breakfast. Masks provided if you forget one. Great wifi speed. All in all one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in while visiting Cedar Rapids!

We stayed with a group for hockey. Staff was friendly and understanding of our group of rambunctious teen boys. Room was clean and as expected.

Just stayed here over the weekend and had the best time the rooms were clean staff was friendly and the pool room was on point I would definitely recommend for any trip, shout out to the front desk agent for being so helpful with food recommendations I think her name was karie

This is my first time in Cedar Rapids and they saved our trip and hotel experience.
Hotel is very nice and very well kept. Updated, clean and friendliness seem to be their focus. During the tough policies these hotels are facing, IHG hasn’t missed a step.

The staff was very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean. It was nice that they provide a washer and dryer on the floor. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is also close to so many dining places and shopping.

I stay here at least once a week. It’s a decent hotel with a hot breakfast which I’ve learned is hard to find around here. One call out I will make is that Tiffany at the front desk is stellar. She checks me in every time I come and is a delightful person. There has been times where she’s checked me in at 6pm and when I’ve went to leave the next morning she is back bright and early with a smile on her face. You are lucky to have her!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice complimentary breakfast, and close to the Power House

I've been going to this hotel regularly for years. It's always great staff, great service, great location, and great value.
