This is the place to come for your sweet treats. The owner is so very sweet😊. I love the Snickers filled with caramel. She easily has the best fresh made wrapped Caramels in town.

Love this place! So much more than just a chocolate shop. Amazing gluten free and dairy free options, and at surprisingly good prices too!! I haven’t tried anything yet that I didn’t love. I can’t have gluten or dairy and I have had the gluten and dairy free options of a chocolate frog, a cupcake, a snickerdoodle, and some pumpkin bread. My daughter is not gluten or dairy free and she has had a regular peanut butter cup and a cake pop. Tonight I brought home the pumpkin bread, sliced it up and warmed it up with some dairy free ‘butter’ slathered on top and I could have sworn I was sitting at my grandmothers table in 1997 eating her pumpkin bread.

Wonderful customer service! Delicious handmade caramels. I ordered a Tiramisu for my husband’s birthday and it was divine! Tasted like a fantastic aunt from Italy made it. I’m going to order the raspberry lemon cupcakes for my mother’s birthday and a giant frosted chocolate chip cookie for me. I cannot wait!!!

Tina made a large sheetcake for our wedding anniversary party. She made it extra special for us by adapting the original wedding cake recipe used for our wedding 40 years ago. Tina's custom cake for us was the closest and best tasting version of it. It was delicious! Tina's service is extraordinary, and this was the easiest and best decision we made for our party of 65 people.

Finding a place that caters to allergies is rare, and Sweetopia does the best gluten and dairy free sweets! The obsession I have this place is crazy and I am so beyond happy that my boyfriend spoils me with treats from this place every week. I have had the pumpkin bread, six different cupcake flavors, cookies and birthday cake made from them and they will always have my heart. Thank you for making sure my boyfriend always has a place to surprise me with!

I was so impressed by the level of professionalism and communication with this company! They were so great and informative during the planning process and helped so much! I didn’t really know a lot about planning a wedding or how many desserts I would need so having someone there to guide me through it was so amazing! 10/10 would recommend for any event! I’m so glad we chose them!

It's always a new adventures in chocolate when we go. Almost never have the same stock and they're all amazing. The owner is a peach and all of the workers are fantastic! Every time we go it's fantastic and I cannot recommend this sweet shop enough.

They came recommended when I was looking for Gluten Free goodies for a friends birthday. They had such a variety! That was back in July.

This past week I reached out for a custom doggie birthday cake, pupcakes and cake pops (for people) to celebrate my dog’s first birthday. Everything looked amazing. The dogs and humans enjoyed their treats.

Sweetopia totally saved me. They took my last-minute order for my daughter’s birthday and saved the day! Even better was the various chocolate-covered fruits – totally delicious. Excellent customer service and product! Thanks again😃

What a lovely shop! The staff are super friendly and aim to please. The handmade chocolates & baked goods are exquisitely decorated & taste fabulous—have not tried any other food here. I ordered custom boxes of assorted chocolates, which were ready on time, as promised.

Cute spot for a variety of sweets. I liked their sitting area and play area (pics). Mostly chocolate truffles in store but had some cookies, cupcakes. Also had chocolate covered pretzels, chips, nuts and marshmallows. Can order other items too like donuts, pies, cakes etc. Drinks like water, tea, coffee(keurig) and bottled coffees, juices and milks. Even had a few food options like fried rice and cheese steak. I ordered truffles they were all delish. Cherry, bday cake, devils kiss and jerk (spicy but good).

Tina is the best. We love Sweetopia! I might have to go grab some devils kisses today! Even our dogs love Tina and her treats!

My husband & I always stop at Sweetopia when we visit family in Cedar Rapids. I have never been more impressed with the staff there and everything is just beyond yummy. This is one business that lives up to their name!

I've ordered from them NUMEROUS times, including our wedding cake and anniversary cakes. Sweetopia cannot be beat for price, quality or service! The entire staff is kind, always cheerful and helpful. Their cream cheese mints are HEAVENLY and the cakes are moist and delicious.

I’m from Nashville, TN and have tried a lot of different chocolates. These are very unique in aesthetics and they are even tastier than they look. Absolutely fantastic chocolates. Wonderful costumer service too.

We had sweetopia make our wedding cake. They were very affordable and they did an amazing job. The cake was the best tasting cake that I have ever had. Thank you for making our wedding day so wonderful.

we love supporting small businesses. My husband loved the chocolate bacon and I adored the candy jelly fruits. Recommended for a homemade treat and such loving, warm and great customer service & staff.

I went here on a whim since I was done shopping at Michael’s. I found it to be a quiet place, small yet inviting.

The worker I talked to was nice. He did his best to answer any questions I had about some of their chocolates (barring any trade secrets).

Just a heads up, the chocolates don’t come cheap. Individual pieces are $2.50. Buy at least four to get some kind of deal; this is definitely a once-in-a-while treat. But given how fancy some of their chocolates look and some of the flavors, it makes sense they cost a pretty penny.

That being said, I found the Blood Orange Dark Chocolates to be excellent. Same with the White Chocolate Lime Cheesecake (at least I think that’s the name, it definitely has lime flavor).

It’ll be a while before I return due to prices but the service and quality of their chocolates would be worth it.

The employees are very kind and patient when answering questions. They make my favorite cookies here (Monster cookies from Grandma Sue's bakery in case anyone is curious) and when my husband went to pick some up for a party and they were down to one pack, they told him how I could order in advance to make sure they'd never run out when I have a craving. Their truffles and chocolate-covered strawberries are also amazing!

10/10 for me and I hope they stay in town for a long time. Prices are reasonable, people are friendly, and they have a rewards system too.

Unique, tasty treats and extremely helpful, accommodating, patient staff. One of the best small businesses in the Cedar Rapids area!
