Crank Revolution Bike Shop

I recently moved to the area and wasn’t expecting to find such a great shop nearby. I feel lucky to have such a good bike shop so close!
I purchased a new Tarmac from a shop in another state but it arrived with some broken parts. Crank Revolution to the rescue: TC helped me through the warranty process with Specialized and did all of the labor. The bike looks and rides perfectly. The shop helped me with getting a quick fit on the bike, was easy to communicate with etc.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Crank Revolution! Their service is exceptional, the staff is incredibly friendly, and their advice is spot-on. They truly know how to make bikers happy and keep us rolling smoothly :) Highly recommend!

I learned of the shop through a friend and started riding the Wednesday Night Group Ride. I was immediately welcomed and found a community that had similar interests to me and my only regret is not finding the shop sooner. They helped me narrow down some choices for my next bike and were extremely patient with me when picking something out that I would totally love and could grow into as a rider. I ended up with a Specialized Allez Sprint, which I bought last year, and this spring, I purchased some Enve wheels from the shop to make it into my absolute dream bike.

They've provided top notch maintenance and care for my equipment while also giving me tips and pointers for doing my own maintenance. The owners Jeremy and TC are always in the store and are kind and thoughtful in how they approach every customer. From Cat 1 racers to parents just looking for a bike for their child so they can have a family ride before dinner, what Jeremy and TC care about most is the joy that people experience from getting on a bicycle.

Bike shops are a hit or miss in the west suburbs, usually the latter. If you're like me, and you value having positive buying experiences, you'll love it here. Crank Revolution was founded by two awesome lads who successfully combined their passion into a reputable, friendly bike shop. They'll answer all your questions, give you ACTUAL professional advice, and in my case, sell you the best bike in the world. They don't sweat the small stuff and they genuinely want to see you get out there and have the best riding experience possible. This will be my spot for a very long time. Highly recommended.

We were shopping for a few accessories for my new bike and the staff was super helpful and informative. They were our first stop and the other bike shops that we visited only made me appreciate this store more. We will definitely be back and we will happily make the half hour drive to give this bike store our business.

Old school shop that both knows their stuff and makes you feel like you're a part of their family. I've been looking for a shop like this since my old favorite was sold a few years ago.

There are a few really competent bike shops that are closer for me, but I never had a feeling that I was building a relationship that would lead them to have my back in a pinch.

Crank Revolution totally helped me out in a pinch, when I really wasn't expecting it - and I wasn't even a customer. I fully am now.

Went to a couple other bike shops and was turned away because of “propriety parts”.

This place is legit. Took my daughter’s Woom bike here for repair and was out within 15 minutes. Customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this place for bike service.

Crank Revolution is an amazing shop tucked away west of Chicago. Most would not think there is much of any kind of mountain biking to be had around there, but there are literally more than a dozen miles of trails across the street from the shop at the Paul Douglas Preserve as well as the awesomeness of Raceway Woods a short drive away. The service at CR is peerless and these guys not only know their stuff, but you won't find a more friendly group. It is the only place I will patronize when I visit the area. Check them out!!!

Stopped into this place when I got a flat riding the trails across the road and left my pump in the car like an idiot. The guys at the shop very kindly filled my tire with air so I could limp the slow leak back to the car at the trailhead. Really appreciate their help, very friendly shop!

I had wheels built and it seemed the rear hub was having issues not rolling smoothly.
I stopped in Crank Revolution and was welcomed by Jeremy who is the owner.
I explained what was going on with my wheels and he said no problem leave it with me and I'll check it out.
He called me said it's all done I went to pick it up he did say he made an adjustment and rode it and said that was the problem but what he also did was looked up my hubs to see if there were any recalls or customer complaints and none were found.
I asked him what I owed him he said nothing .
I was very appreciative for his service and great customer service.
I have found a great place Crank Revolution and a great guy Jeremy.

Amazing service. Techs are the best I've seen. I've had to come in with my litespeed watia a few times for broken head tube stem, derailleur hanger, other things. They fixed and provided advice each and every time for a reasonable price. Bought cleats with clipinn pedals from them as well. Highly recommend!

Great place, very friendly. New to the area, had a minor issue with the chain on the bike and it had been moved around a lot over the last year, so just wanted someone to look it over and make sure everything was working okay on it. Didn't charge me anything, even filled the air on the tires. Just went above and beyond. I can see why this business is so highly rated, and will definitely go back there for any bike issues we have in the future.

Everyone I dealt with was genuinely courteous and very knowledgeable, particularly knowledgeable about E-bikes as compared to other bike stores I called. More important I had a problem with a new E-bike purchase, turned out to be minor, but regardless in my opinion problems are where you learn the true character of who you're dealing with, and here they went above and beyond to make sure it was resolved to my satisfaction. Would recommend to anyone!

This shop is awesome! After having my bike completely tuned up and repaired at Crank Revolution, it literally feels like I am no longer riding, rather, somehow floating onward so effortlessly! 😂 When I brought it in it was making some noises and had some issues I had been just dealing with for a very long time, and had no idea just how much or what it would need. Jeremy was super transparent and fair with pricing. He communicated to me exactly what he recommended, the clear issues associated, and corresponding cost. The bike was done in only a couple days with all of the work explained to me. When I took it out, it was still having an issue (that only occured when getting moving from a dead stop with increase in elevation or significant elevation gain on the move ..impossible to diagnosis unless riding under these conditions). He initially believed aligning the bent thing properly would work, which of course needed to be done anyway, but it did not fix this problem. I brought it back and he replaced further parts and did not charge any labor fees. the bike was done in only another day. I am so grateful for their knowledge, craft, and skill at this shop. I will surely be returning again for any future problems. Fixing up my bike was an incredibly rewarding and worth while investment and I definitely recommend their work.
