Residence Inn by Marriott Cedar Rapids

I had not seen or been to this Residence Inn before but, I was pleasantly surprised. I checked in while they were having Taco Tuesday and the food was great. The staff reception staff really friendly and helpful and the location close to I-380 was just right for me.

Rooms were ok, not much luxury, but it had all the basic items required.
They also have breakfast and evening dinner as complimentary( usually hotels don't provide dinner) which was so good, they had cheese board, chips, burger 🍔 and chicken wings with sauces and also severed beer with limit 2.
On check in they also gave a small token which contained water bottle,chips and brownie 😊

My family and I were in an apartment fire and lost everything! Our insurance company set us up to stay here! From the moment we arrived they were amazing! Our room was clean and comfortable and staff was exceptional! Thank you Jo and Amy for your service!

We stayed two nights. Our room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool, patio area and basketball court! We found the breakfast to be hot and fresh both mornings. We don’t often find ourselves in the Cedar Rapids area, but if we returned, we’d surely stay here!

We had a house fire back in August and will be here until at least February. Despite the stress of a family of 4 with animals living in a hotel room , this place has really made a tough situation easy and comforting . Jessica is great and has been a friend to my daughter, Ryley had been amazing and great with our animals. Jo in the morning who feeds our family and Diana in the evenings are like family members. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. I couldn’t think of a better place to stay during this time in our lives. Thank you all.

The room was very clean and nice. All the employees that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was hot and absolutely fabulous. Will be staying there again.

Got a free upgrade and a gift upon arrival for being a loyal member of their rewards program. Room was clean, quiet and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the amenities (shampoo, soap etc.) are wonderful. The breakfast and coffee are delicious. Great stay!

Our family of six just stayed here for a week due to some home renovations. The staff was very friendly.

The two bedroom suite was spacious with a nicely equipped kitchen. The room was cleaned well each day. Morning breakfast is nicely done and higher quality than most. The staff maintaining the eating area kept it very clean all week. Overall a nice home away from home.

Rooms were clean and spacious. The desk staff was attentive and polite to all of us. Breakfast starts at 6 am and ends at 930. It is pretty standard buffet stuff but quality was still pretty good. Overall good experience I would be happy to stay there again if I was going back to Cedar Rapids.

We were displaced from our home and had been dealing with severe health issues, we got this room because of the good price but didnt expect it to be the best hotel stay we have ever had. We had to extend our stay multiple times and the staff was so great at keeping us around the same rate and in the same room. The staff checked on how we were feeling daily. The first day we were late for breakfast, it had ended already and they even made sure we still got some breakfast. We were blown away by the staff every day and night. The housekeepers even gave us some bags to carry our groceries out to the car with. The room was amazing. Clean. Huge. And had a full fridge, freezer, ice maker, dishwasher, stove and microwave! Couldnt have had a better experience, especially for the price! Highly recommend!

I travel for work, and I will come to this hotel over and over because they have Oatmilk. FINALLY a hotel with Non-dairy milk! The ladies at the desk were fabulous and the rooms were luxurious. The price was excellent for all these great features. Seriously love it here

They are always great at the residence Inn cedar rapids. The service and little extras go a long way. Plus I like being in place that feels like an apartment when I work at my corporate office for the week. My stay last week was even friendlier than usual. They gave me extra goodies for bring a Marriott rewards member and they even called me a little while after I got to my room to make sure everything was up to expectation. They are my favorite place to stay.

The Marriott is our new home for about 4 to 6 months while our new home is being built. Last night was our first night staying there and is was very comfortable and I slept well. It has a very good breakfast prepared for all the guest each morning. All in all a very good place to stay.

We got more than we bargained for staying at this hotel, very spacious room (even with our 3 kids), room had not just a fridge but a full sized fridge with freezer, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher furnished with dishes and silverware. Pool area was very clean, and workout room was clean and was adequate.

Room was nice and roomy with plenty of places to sit. The fold out sofa was decent and the breakfast had a pretty good selection as well. Was only staying overnight to see family otherwise we might have used the stove and fridge.

Truly a home away from home, the rooms are very well designed, and the staff very accomadating. Our room in particular had the set up of two seperate rooms, with two seperate full baths and a shared living/kitchen area. It made our pair of couples both happy and economically savvy. Easy to hook up game systems to the cable box found beneath every television set, though if you have any troubles the hostess at the front desk will be more than eager to help.

Awesome Awesome hotel!!! the staff is amazing and the room I had was home away from home. I'm from out of town and the hotels in Davenport arnt as nice as this one I wish they would come to my part of the woods. I can't say enough positive things just come and stay at this hotel you won't regret it I promise. Btw room 300 is an awesome room counter top stove/burners comes with dishes and a dish washer. If you have to be away from home this is great!

This is a WONDERFUL place to stay! DO NOT STAY anywhere else. From the incredible breakfast buffet (Brie cheese & grapes!) To the evening social, all is warm, and IOWA- INVITING. A Big THANK YOU to Lakeshia & Paddles, Marriott should be very proud of these " going out of their way" employees. We could not be any more impressed with the Residence Inn, Marriott, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Nice motel. Rooms are clean some are like little apartments. Hallways are very clean. Can't hear the people talking in the rooms beside you. They don't have a lot of bad people staying there. A motel to stay at.

Very nice place to stay. I liked the area because there are a lot of restaurants and places close by. We found a great park, a garden and a waterpark close by. There were also a dozen restaurants less than 2 miles away and there were some places we dont have in Minneapolis so it was a nice location. The front desk and housekeeping were some of the nicest people I have ever met in a hotel. I only had 2 issues, the hot tub was out of order and a lot of guests seemed to be cooking full meals and the hallway smelled of curry, fried fish or fried chicken depending on where you walked. Not the hotels fault but I dont remember ever staying anywhere with such strong food smells. Everything was very clean.
