I love JCPenny store in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Everyone has been very helpful and friendly. I also get discounts when using my JCPenny credit card. My only complaint is that I have to drive 50 miles from my home to shop there. It is the closest to my hometown.

This store doesn't always have a wide variety of choices, but their prices are usually affordable. It's the staff that impresses me. No matter the situation, no matter the stress, this group of people will bend over backwards to help find something or order it for you. Management has always been gracious and accommodating in resolving problems with returns or pricing. Give these guys a try.

The employees were super helpful, I was looking for some pants couldn't find them in my size but the staff helped me locate them .

I had a great experience at the store yesterday. Amanda and Tammy, in the home department, were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate them going out of their way to help me select my items.

Was a long way for me to drive but worth it. We're looking to purchase new drapes for our patio door and pennies has a great person in that department named Amanda who was super helpful to us. So I highly recommend them if you're in the market for new drapes or blinds.

They had a great memorial Day sale got five pairs of shorts for $91. Great deal if you're big and tall guy like me you should go and look at their sale

Some of the best service I've had in quite a while. The gentleman that waited on me found every discount that he could possibly find to save me every dollar. During such a season when everybody thinks it's about making money he was into providing outstanding service and I spent much less money than I had planned but purchased higher quality items then I thought I could afford because of his service. He has got to be one of the better employees that JCPenney has in it company.

Helpful service even on Christmas Eve!

My mother & I went & got our hair colored. Bought 2 sets of shampoo & conditioner and the price was around $350 for all of it. Wasn't too high of price for all we had done & the hair stylists were very friendly & explained what & how they were going to do to our hair. Also explained why the price was so high & how many treatments it would take for my hair to reach desired color.

Absolutely wonderful! It took hours Amanda was so patient. The first day I bought 4 sheer curtains Amanda told me how to measure for Curtains and Levolor blinds. I went home and measured more than twice, believe me. Some windows are in need of 84" curtains. Lots of measuring. Today I went back and Amanda again helped me again. She handled the whole department ladies were looking at products in her department. Amanda was completely in control. SHE WAS REALLY BUSY! I was not in a hurry and Amanda was able to handle all of us with knowledge and grace. Never did she get flustered. I watched what all she was doing. She is a outstanding JCPenney employee. Mike also was very helpful. This was not even his department he saw that I would need help getting to my vehicle. He stepped up helped packed all of the glass canister's I purchased. Asked which door I came in, he did not say do you want some help. He said to Amanda I will help her. Out to her car. He picked up all of my packages and asked "which door did you come in. I told him that there was luggage close to the door. He knew right where I was talking about. And off we went. The door was if course the farthest one away. Mike was courteous very helpful and polite. He loaded up my car. I thanked him for helping me. He said no problem have a good rest of your day. That was it. All I need to do now is wait for the levolor blinds to be made and sent by a carrier.
It was, I'm going to say a really good experience.

On Sunday, (September 22nd), I went shopping for curtains for an addition to my house. The clerk, Amanda, was awesome. She was very friendly, and, extremely patient with me. I had never shopped for curtains before, and had no idea where to start. Her attention to me was outstanding, which made the experience quite enjoyable. ( I hope she gets to read this review!)

I found Great gifts for the boys, girls and Family. Great prices and using my JC Penney card additional savings! The cashiers were VERY Helpful and even Cheerful! They seemed as Glad for me at the special gifts I found!! Merry Christmas experience

Nice store. First time visit in 6 years. Renewed my Penny credit card. Spent 2 hours in store. Staff very helpful.

Store was very clean and very easy to shop. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

They carry decent selection of big and tall. I'm not very big, but I'm 6'5" so it's hard to find decent looking stuff that fits. The store is clean and staff always offers to help find stuff. It has become my go to place for clothes.
