Midwest Dental - Cedar Rapids

The staff is incredibly friendly and professional- the dentist did such a great job with my children and really took the time to explain in detail what was going on. They were fast and very thorough! Loved our visit.

I recently visited Midwest Dental for a filling procedure, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and made me feel at ease. The dental hygienist was gentle and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The dentist was highly skilled and took the time to explain the process to me, addressing any concerns I had. The office was clean and well-maintained, creating a calming atmosphere. Overall, Midwest Dental exceeded my expectations with their professionalism, expertise, and friendly demeanor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of dental care.

I’ve never had such a positive experience at a dentist, as I’ve had at Midwest Dental! Julie. Carla, Dana, and Teresa, all make you feel like such a valued patient! I’m always very nervous before I go to a dentist, but here, not so much. The only suggestion I have, is to “Hire” an emotional support dog! I can’t think of a better industry to help support nervous patients, than a puppy!❤

Karla is Always professional (& makes the experience fun). The new Dentist was great as well as the woman out front who checked me in & out. Great people.

The desks person, hygenies, and the Dr were so kind. I hadn't been to the dentist for awhile and I was nervous.

Hello All! Would like to give a SHOUT OUT to Midwest Dental, Dr. Ryan Eckley, and ALL his staff!!! I had to have a Filling DONE, and I go there for Regular Cleanings, X-Rays, etc. THEY ARE ALWAYS SOO NICE, PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT, AFFORDABLE/WORK WITH YOUR INSURANCE/PAYMENT PLAN, etc!!! GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!! I don't know if They are taking NEW patients or not, but if you are looking for a GOOD Dentist, GO THERE!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

I had my first visit yesterday. I was very impressed with the facility and all the staff from the secretary, to the hygienist, to the assistant and finally the dentist.

I had my teeth cleaned and polished, by Theresa. She is very through, but gentle. After she was done, the dentist checked my mouth and teeth. They schedule,well, so you don’t spend as much time in the waiting room as you do in the chair. Everyone, in the office is smiling and friendly. It is in an old building, but the office is clean , cheery, and updated.

Truly some of the nicest, most patient, nonjudgmental dental service I’ve experienced. My last dentist made me feel embarrassed and ashamed of the state of my teeth. Midwest Dental has already shown nothing but compassion and understanding of what it’s like to deal with a lot of dentistry work (and the bills that come with it). I was lucky enough for them to accept my insurance and have them get started on making my teeth healthy again in a comfortable way. Thanks so much to the staff there!!

Both my wife and I go to Midwest Dental on 1st Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids. Dr. Ryan Eckley and his staff are great. Excellent service and always a friendly interaction. Highly recommended.

Great experience. Everyone is really nice. I felt very comfortable in the dentist chair and that's easy for me. Dr. Eckley and his entire staff made me feel welcome and comfortable.

Midwest Dental has one of the best dental hygienists ever. So friendly, I always look forward to having my teeth cleaned here! In general, the staff are professional and care about you. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Everyone is incredibly friendly. They truly take the time explaining everything step by step and do a very thorough job. The doctor explained everything very clearly so I would understand. (And his assistant was awesome!)

I really like this dentist's office. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. They do a great job with the cleaning. And I really appreciate that they are never trying to upsell me on anything. I trust that they're focused on my health and not trying to get me to pay for things I don't really need.

This office has a super friendly staff. The doctor was professional and prompt. The office is clean. The front office staff figured out my primary and secondary insurance in a flash. I was extremely impressed. I walked in and read a nice color flier with a biography of the doctor which left a great first impression. My wife and daughter have already scheduled appointments with Midwest Dental based on the excellent first impression they left on me. Thanks!

I had a minor dental emergency. I contacted Midwest Dental, and they were able to schedule me the same day. They called me when they had a cancelation and moved my appointment up so I could be seen earlier. They were friendly, professional, and provided my dental service at a reasonable cost.
