UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's Hospital - Cedar Rapids

Usually hit or miss on wait time but came in this morning with terrible stomach pain they got me in quick and got me pain meds, found out is was a kidney stone. Nurse and doctors were super nice and helpful, after going home the pain got worse even with the strong pain meds they gave me so I went back to the ER had to wait a little bit longer but once they got me back in they were able to give me some pain meds and decided to have me go threw surgery to just get it removed. Wish I could remember everyone’s names that helped me today from the doctors/ nurses/ ct people and my surgeons for being so patient kind and keeping me informed every step of the way. Will always go here for future needs and surgeries.

Staff was very attentive. We called and they told us approximately how many people were waiting so we could come right in and not have to wait long periods. They really care about patients and getting them back home healthy. Very communicative in what was happening as it happened. Great customer service and extremely concerned about your care and well being. 💜💜💜

I cannot say enough positive comments about the fantastic care I received during my extended stay. Every staff member I encountered always displayed professionalism & genuine care, including custodial & dining service staff. A truly exemplary hospital, & I will always recommend it as the first choice in regards to seeking topnotch medical care.

My partner was having a very bad reaction to a med, and when they went in the staff were incredibly nice and patient, and helped their problem right up! They had the doctor guy who wears the shirt :). Very cool guy

Came here because there were no beds available at our local hospitals for my husband who had a heart attack. The care he received was outstanding. From Dr. Halfway and staff to all the nurses and techs. Jayson from cardiac rehab was informative and kind. The care I received as his was caring and respectful. Thank you so much for all yoi did. If we didn't live so far away this would be our medical care facility and Doctor.

I would like to thank Dr. Richardson and his staff for the amazing care he gave my dad when he got called in during the night to care for my dad when Mercy Hospital in Iowa City didn't have an urologist on call.
I can't thank all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Unity Point Health for the amazing care. Everyone was so caring and nice. I would highly recommend it. This is our new hospital if we need it and the drive from Iowa City will be worth it for the amazing care.

After a trip to my local ER, I was transferred here because they were one of the few places with an open bed and the specialty team needed for me. Everyone who gave me care in 3SSU was amazing and couldn't have asked for anything better. Even helped me get released in time so I didn't miss my son's birthday party. Thank you all!

I went here a few weeks ago for excruciating stomach pain and found out I had gallstones. They did surgery that morning and removed my gallbladder. Yesterday I went in after I fell down the stairs for horrible back pain so bad I couldn’t stand up straight. They took it seriously and did an MRI and come to find out I have a herniated disc. They referred me to physical therapy and prescribed me a strong pain med. I am forever thankful to Saint Luke’s hospital for figuring out what was wrong with my gallbladder and my back!

Went in for procedure this morning and was fortunate to have Sue as my nurse. What a good experience, she was kind, informative, and very good at her job, as we're all the other professionals who assisted in my care.

Urgent Care Marion - The process of registering online for an appointment window worked well and saved us significant wait time in the lobby. Check in was quick and efficient. Screens in the waiting room show where you are in the queue to be called back. This was especially helpful while waiting with a child. All staff, nurses, and doctors were caring and attentive. I appreciate they took the time to explain what happened next, during and after the appointment, and made me feel like I had a say in my child's care and testing. Our family will definitely return to this location.

I was on the 5 East from 11-16 to 11-19. The nurse's & other support staff that assisted in my care did an excellent job. They respected my privacy and what not when needed. The doctor's also did an excellent job & kept me well informed. Thank you.

My experience at UnityPoint Health Marion Iowa was great, not that it matters a hole lot but being a black guy I could really say they had great service. Given the current climate with the coronavirus and everything the service was really prompt and the staff seem to have really great spirits and I like that. You can’t ask for anymore when Health professionals at this location can do their job perfectly and treat you nice at the same time. thanks UnityPoint Marion 🥰

We have used this urgent care several times and have never been disappointed. Just again tonight took my son there at 7:45 (15 minutes before closing time) and was greeted politely, compassionately, and with smiles. We left there by 8:20 with 5 other people ahead of us. The physician Dr. Jones from Iowa City was professional, efficient, and pleasant. The new system of checking in online and being updated while there leaves no doubt where you are in line. Yes waiting is part of it- leaving to go to emergency room when it’s not an emergency is the very reason our healthcare system and it’s cost is out of control. No one at this location has ever made me or my family feel nothing but taken care of with dignity and respect.

I have 3 boys, ages 6, and 15 mos. (twins). All three were born at St. Lukes, and both experiences were wonderful. I experienced no complications with my oldest, but was nervous and scared, nonetheless. The nurses and staff were great and helped me to feel more relaxed and comfortable with the process. When pregnant with the twins, I was put on hospital bed rest at 28 weeks. I am so thankful that I was at St. Lukes! Ultimately, I spent 11 1/2 weeks laying in bed. The nurses and staff in the Women's and Children's Center were amazing! Every person I, or my family, had contact with went above and beyond in making sure we were comfortable and had the most "normal" experience possible in that situation. All of our questions and concerns were addressed, no matter how small. My husband and son were welcome to stay overnight in my room with me whenever they wished, and were given a cot to sleep on - right next to my bed. We experienced many significant milestone occasions and holidays while I was there, and the staff made sure we were made to feel special for each one. I received the best care possible, and once the twins were born, they did too - even while they spent a week in Pediatrics before coming home. When I was finally discharged, I felt like I was leaving my second family. We recommend St. Lukes to anyone we know whom are expecting.

I went to Urgent Care and had Dr Hodge examine me. He was very thorough and I felt like he addressed my symptoms. He is one of the nicest Dr. I have met and very personal. I have been to him before and have always felt like he was concerned and I didn’t get rushed out the door. All the Drs. at Urgent Care in Marion all seem to be very caring!

I just got home from urgent care and was pleasantly surprised! From the receptionist to the doctor, everyone was professional and courteous. AND... The time it took there was far less than the time it took me to pick up my prescriptions at the pharmacy (separate place)! Overall, I highly recommend Unity Point Urgent Care in Marion!

I went to Urgent Care in Marion today and was able to be seen within 5 minutes after checking in. Within 15 minutes after arriving I had already seen the nurse, then the provider, received my after visit summary, and was on my way to go pick up my prescription. I was very satisfied. I would recommend to anyone needing Urgent Care.

Ive only been to a couple of my child's Appointments here but what I have experienced is top of the line care for my child. Dr. Dinah Conti is awesome. She does not rush through your child's visit. She makes sure all concerns are taken care of and that you understand everything. I've never seen or experienced a Healthcare Professional like her that seems to go above and beyond and actually care about the patient. I Recommend her 100%

This is the BEST HOSPITAL I have ever been to. My wife and I are from South Florida and we are still in amazement as too how great the Entire staff on the fourth floor is and the doctors. Especially Nurse Sarah, Erin the charge nurse, both Doctors and the dietary staff. (Great food). My wife and I have relocated because of the kindness and great medical attention we were given.

Admissions checked me in quickly and Bonnie responded almost immediately. After checking vitals and updating my chart, Bonnie let Dr. Marlette know I was ready for her and she saw me immediately too. Care was extremely quick, thorough, and efficient. I'm feeling grateful for this team. Thank you all!
