First Open Bible

Absolutely love it here! Never have felt at home more than at First Open Bible. They welcome you just like family and i for myself feel the holy spirit more there than many other places ive gone. Highly recommend !

This church is life changing though the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is a spirit filled and spirit led church that feels so much like home. It's a great medium sized church, the kids ministry has been amazing, and we've felt like we found a church that we can finally invest in and be invested in.

I have been going here for 3 years. It is a very welcoming atmosphere for any family or newcomer. The people here treat newcomers and members with such love and care, and it is an amazing place to become part of a church family. The presence of God in this church is so strong and powerful. The worship music is so Spirit-filled and heartfelt. It is truly the best worship I’ve ever experienced out of any church I’ve been to. I’ve personally encountered God in this place and have been healed miraculously. The sermons are preached directly from the Word of God with great attention to detail and truth. The sermons are life-changing and very helpful towards any believer’s spiritual growth. The pastor teaches the congregation how to properly live out your faith in full surrender to Christ. It is such an amazing place and group of believers, and I wish I had joined many years ago.

Stopped in for the Christmas meal, everyone was so welcoming, comforting, atmosphere was excellent, food was just as tasty. Met the pastor and he seems truly genuine as well as everyone that I had met. Might possibly be my new church very soon.

Literally the best church I have ever been to!! The atmosphere of this place truly holds the spirit of god within its walls and people. I reccomend anyone who has accepted jesus as thier saviour to come be filled with the joy that is his spirit every sunday!! This is one of the few churches, I believe, that yields to the fact that church is NOT a museum for good people, but a hospital for the broken.

I love seeing my pastor dancing. The way king David did, he's not ashamed. The joy of the Lord is his strength. Amen

God is definitely moving in the church. If you are looking for a holy spirit filled church this is the church for you.

Best church I've ever been to. The worship is so uplifting! The pastor always has a great message to deliver. It's right from the word of God.

When I come to Cedar Rapids for a visit I will go to this church as my cousin attends there. They have a good service and excellent music
