Tornado's Grub & Pub

This is a restaurant I’m already looking forward to eating at again. Best burger in town and the best crinkle fries! With such a unique burger menu, there is something for everyone. So many to pick from, you’d have to come back again just to see what it’s all about. It was easy to customize as well. There were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try too, like the bagel sandwiches. The pickle spear with each meal was a nice touch.

The waiter was very friendly and balanced all of his tables and the bar. Very impressive service, he knew perfectly how to check in and keep up with all of us.

Great burgers! Liked the decor and atmosphere. Service was great! Kid friendly. Really reasonably priced. Pepsi products. The only upcharge on a side is a side salad or sweet potato fries, otherwise, the sides are: French fries, good potato salad, coleslaw, cottage cheese, jalapeño pasta salad, and something else. They have bagel sandwiches, salads, po-boys, and burgers. Will definitely be back! Burgers are thick! Not small, thin patties. We had the Crazy burger.

Had the aftermath. Thing is huge for $20 bucks. Unfortunately, even though it looked good, it was smothered in BBQ sauce along with other sauces, and way too many flavors going on to even really enjoy what could be an excellent burger.

Fantastic first experience at Tornado's. Service was great, excellent beer on tap, and the burger was the best I've had in CR. I built my own and added lettuce, grilled onions, jalapenos, chopped pickles, American cheese, and bacon. The fries had a delicious seasoning, and the ranch is also a contender for best around. Will definitely be coming back to try "The Pickler" burger!

The food was amazing and the service was outstanding! Paige made some great recommendations to try for our first visit and can't wait for our next visit.

This place has a great wait staff. This place has the best burgers and fries in Cedar Rapids hands down. I told my family I wanted crinkle fries and a burger this is where we went. I usually go with the seasonal cider to drink. Yum

First time here. My mom and stepdad were there on Thursday for lunch and said it was fantastic. So my wife and I stopped in Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and drinks. It was as good as advertised. Cool little bar setting and the food was fantastic. Service was great. 10 out of 10. Will most definitely be back.

Hot Nashville cheese curds were delicious, with plenty to share. My husband declares Tornado’s burgers the best in town. I’ve had one previously and I didn’t think it was anything special. The regular French fries are tasty. Good amount of seasoning. The sweet potato fries were just ok. Nothing special. I really enjoyed the chicken strip sandwich.

The food is extremely delicious and presented well! Little louder than I’d prefer however the burgers were great! Got to try the F4 Hot Burger if you like a little kick. Staff was really friendly and the ranch is great to. Don’t miss out.

Wow, we loved this place! They have a huge selection of unique burgers. I got the F4 hot and it was amazing. Everyone at my table thought the food was delicious!! Plus very friendly staff and overall a great vibe.

First timer here. Had a bit of a wait for a table but worth it! The food was great and came to our table piping hot. I really feel the breaded tenderloin was the best I’ve ever had. Atmosphere was great and our waiter made it fun! Will be back!

Absolutely delicious food, great customer service, and a chill atmosphere. Went with my brother for lunch and didn't even have to ask for refills, a check, or a box for my food. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.. Which is hard to come by anymore. Food was impressive.. I have to say this place wins new best wings in cedar rapids for me. They are little, crispy, moist, and packed full of flavor. The burgers match in quality.. Just go.

I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon as I had been hearing about the burgers. When I arrived, the place was full but not overly loud. I sat at the bar and the bartender recommended the both burger, add bacon. This is a mushroom and Swiss burger with blue cheese and brown gravy. The add bacon was only $1 which is great. I added onion rings which was a pretty significant upcharge of $5 but there was a full order of rings, not just a couple of rings like most places give you. The onion rings were large, cooked perfectly with a side of ranch. The burger was cooked very well. The brown gravy is fantastically delicious and the grilled mushrooms were spot on. I would definitely recommend trying this place for excellent food which was hot and fresh. Definitely stop by and get food.

The server was awesome and the food was great. The prices were not bad at all! The Southwestern Chicken Eggrolls were really good. I usually am not a fan of crinkle cut fries but these were crispy and seasoned nicely (and of course, they had awesome ranch). The veggies on my burger were fresh and I loved that we got a pickle on the side. We will be back!

It's hard to get a seat here and it is for a good reason.

The food is awesome and so is the bar. The space is small and that makes the quality stay in check.

Great burgers and fries! The fries were hot, crispy and tender on the inside. They were really busy and the service was good. I live the decoration. Lots of funny stuff to see.
