The Red Frog

When I go to Red Frog on my own I have the wonderful opportunity of savoring one of their hamburgers, I enjoy every juicy bite, noticing the flavors dancing on my tongue, I feel the texture with each chew, appreciate the nourishment the chef offered me that evening. This is really what I feel : a sense of joy in the simple act of eating there. Is really that incredible? Only trying it you will know.
4/27/24 * I went back and my experiences continue! , The bartender recognizes me at sight, not only she was able to remember better than me what I drank that day, but also what kind of Burger I ate and the sides I asked! She is so amazing. I am telling you, that is good service and look at the Boss Burger I ate! Delicious!

Came by on a Thurs night just with happy hour starting, place was packed but got quick and wonderful service. The food was great. Reuben and philly were delicious, and definitely try the frog legs! The one woman working the bar, taking orders and running food was doing fantastic. Was well worth the stop.

Under new management since last I visited, pleased to see that the atmosphere has been updated, and the menu has all new offerings. Pity to find they were out of frog legs this visit, but the blackened fish sandwich and the hangover burger were very good, as were the pretzel bites (if a bit greasy), and the cauliflower bites have a unique but pleasant breading. The service was friendly and fairly prompt, the drinks were cold, the food was hot. I'll definitely be back to try the frog legs and see how their tenderloin stacks up!

Very good food, super filling. Wait staff was pleasant and answered all the questions. They catered to my kids and turned a TV to a kid friendly channel without being asked. Would come back!

Came in yesterday for breakfast and ordered the "Shipwreck". Came out quick, hot, and all ingredients were fresh! Asked the server who was cooking for us and she said Stephanie.... if she's the one cooking all the time, we will definitely be back!

Came from out of town and was soooo bored of cedar rapids. Came here right before our Long 4 hour drive home for a quick bite bc it was around... made us want to move here. We stayed another night. Bartender was great, polite hardworking personable. Atmosphere was great, felt like we fit right in. Everyone talked to everybody. He brought his wii for the guests to play:) wish I could come here every night for a local bar scene. A must visit. You're missing out if you don't come here

First time there. Great place to the eat and have a drink! The frog legs were not dry and delicious!

I haven't been here in forever but I am so glad we stopped. My friend was in town late one night and I still owed her a birthday drink. This was the ONLY place still serving food that we could find. I used to love the taco pizza here (they no longer carry Pizza 😭) but the new menu is also really good. I got the Frog Hand Held Grilled Chicken Sandwich (Build your own) w/ Coleslaw & my friend got the Patt Melt w fries and a Rumchata. Everything was delicious and the staff was super friendly. My friend declared this place her new favorite! (My meal is the one pictured).

Tenderloins are very good. Wings ok... Everything else we've tried has been good, wings just weren't crispy enough after we asked for extra crispy

Awesome place and open late for food!

Stopped in with some friends for refreshments on a warm afternoon after walking around Bohemie town. Nice place to cool off and the service was great.

I posted about my first time here and this is the 8th... still delicious- seriously, the food is phenomenal! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere with the bar full or empty has been great every time!!! (We were so excited to start eating I forgot to take pictures first)

We have eaten here twice and both lunches have been phenomenal.
Cabbage rolls, pork schnitzel, Buffalo chicken wrap and BLT wrap have been so yummy! The Czech gravy with fries delish!

The frog legs are insanely good here and fairly priced and the atmosphere is always laid back with great service from friendly staff!

Sebastian is an amazing bartender, met him for the first time, funny, kind and when Sierra came in…same! Great atmosphere and kind, fun service!

Second time ordering: The wings were alright ! But the Reuben rolls are absolutely amazing !!! I love the frog sauce!! I'm a picky eater but I'm SO glad I chose those. Too bad I only got six ! I wish I ordered more ! Yummy !!! Def will be ordering those again for sure !

Stopped in for the amazing wing special! Service and food was perfect! The new GM Emma made sure we were fully taken care of and Amm who served us was on his game and took care of all of us!! Very good experience!!
