Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I’ve literally been coming here for the last 6 years and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve NEVER had my order wrong or incomplete. The food is always fresh. I personally love a full garden on my cheeseburgers and even all the vegetable toppings seem like they were freshly picked from a garden in the kitchen lol. I love this Freddy’s location. I’ve never had a better burger in my life. They’re always so hot and fresh that you can’t even eat it when you first get it and that’s a plus because I get to drive home and still enjoy even after sitting. Most places the food would be cold and soggy and nasty. Best. Restaurant. Ever!!!

This is by far the best place to get a cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and custard!! The burgers and fries are always fresh and juicy. And the custard desserts are all delicious. My favorite is a sundae with peanut butter cups and peanut butter sauce. It’s delicious. I have not been disappointed one time. This is my go-to when I’m craving a cheeseburger!! Highly recommend!!

We love Freddy’s! Burgers are soooo good! Harrison was most helpful today. Good attitude and helped me resolve an issue. Will come back over and over!

Let’s just say I love Freddy’s. I have only had burgers and desserts. They have the smashed burgers and they are consistently good!!! They are seasoned and the buns are so good. The staff have always been friendly and helpful even when I’m holding up the line trying to get my app to work. Great place to grab a bite

Freddy's is amazing. It's like an old 50s and 60s diner but brand new. The burgers are amazing. I get the bacon double cheese burger, add jalapeños. They have shakes and ice cream treats with lots of sweet toppings. The diner itself looks like we're back in the 1950s, well 2000s model lol. Anyway Freddys is great. 10 outta 10!!!

Just recently opened and very busy but the service was still fairly fast. The burgers and fries are similar to steak & shake but faster and the taste was very good. The burger was well-seasoned, the fries were a little salty but fresh and hot. The custard (chocolate & vanilla) was creamy and very tasty. I really enjoyed the waffle cone-I had the single and it was plenty for dessert. If you’re just doing the custard you might want the double or triple. The also have a variety of sundaes and an Oreo or Nutterbutter (yes!) ice cream sandwich is available.
The staff was courteous and pretty conscientious about safety precautions (an occasional mask slip below the nose was noted but overall good).
My only disappointment is that they serve Pepsi products so I had to settle for a Dr. Pepper. There is no indication on the menu board that they have Pepsi products and they don’t ask if Pepsi is ok when you order a Coke. Small issue but important to me and a lot of other folks.
I DO recommend Freddy’s for their food and custard. It’s a fairly long drive for me (35-40 minutes) but I will probably be back.

First time here. Food was great and the people were friendly. A good burger and fries. If I lived here I'd come back again. When I'm in town you'll see me again.

I'm from Tampa and we don't have a Freddy's, but like the Terminator I said "I'll be back" and I did come back. Got the number 1 double cheese burger and it was fantastic. A solid burger and fries. When I'm back in the area I'm sure I'll stop by again. Thank you

Hey @freddysusa! How is it that I ordered a Double California Burger combo, and the sandwich is missing 3 of the main ingredients? There was no 1000 island dressing, no tomato, and no lettuce! Seriously, very disappointed in this establishment for my first ever visit! That’s the problem with going through the drive thru nowadays! From what I can see through the window, the place was not short staffed! I counted roughly ten employees, and I saw about 5 employees just standing in a huddle laughing while the others were working! Simple mistakes that led to a very bad first impression! I will not recommend this place to anyone at this time! Please focus on the details and do better!

Follow Up to the last review:

I was contacted by Heather following the last review, and she sincerely apologized for the fiasco and she promptly sent out 2 comp cards to make up For the mistake. I received the cards in a timely manner and I went back on the date of 12/23/2021 to indulge in the free combo. I had the California style combo and I must say it was great! Upon entering the restaurant it looked like a well oiled machine and the place was humming along with activity. I also had a Hawaiian custard that was free and delicious. Thank you Heather for redeeming the Freddy’s name and I definitely recommend this burger spot to all future patrons coming through Huntsville, Alabama!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had some dairy free burgers! They were very kind to my husband and understanding whenever he went to order for me. It can be very hard to find fast food workers that will work with you on diet restrictions.

Great Burgers and shoe-string french fries. This is sure to become your next favorite burger joint. The custard is creamy and smooth and the portion of the regular was surprisingly large. We enjoyed our meal.

Came in on a very busy Saturday evening. The staff worked so hard to get us taken care of in a timely manner. All of our food was correct, including all of our special requests. Steak burgers were delicious as was the custard. Great job, staff!

Just like old times! Nice juicy burger and those special shoestring fries, amazing. Not to mention the hand spun, thick chocolate malt shake. We need one of these in the Montgomery,AL area.

First and foremost, I love that they're wheelchair accessible! They had two ramps that I saw and at least two of their outside tables have an extended top for wheelchair users. Also, a large handicap parking area.

The food tastes amazing. They have the BEST FRIES, hands down. The employees are all super friendly and talkative. Very fast and efficient. Even during busy hours, I only waited maybe 4 minutes for my food. And the food is very affordable!

The whole staff is excellent but Andrew stands out he was extremely helpful to me with my to go order. Please give him a raise and a manager's key. Thank you Andrew.

Freddy’s has the best Steak Burgers and Frozen Custard in town. They have fast and friendly service with reasonable prices. They are so good that I always look forward to my next trip out in Madison so I can enjoy more.

Dining area gives old school diner vibes. The employees are very friendly and customer oriented. They were actively cleaning each table as guests left to prepare for other customers dining in. There are also circular picnic style seating outside to eat for nice weather days. Great place for the kiddos. The food is made to order and fresh. The prices slightly above a regular fast good joint, however the food and the quality of food is definitely greater than a regular fast food joint.

My first time at Freddys. The dining room was very clean, the burger was great, and the fries were excellent. Looking forward to going back to try the frozen custard.
