I had a wonderful experience at Whatley Endodontics. The root canal procedure was quick and there was minimal pain. I would recommend this practice to anyone searching for a good endodontist.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. From the first call, Christy made me feel comfortable and happy. She puts a smile on your face just speaking with her. Christy’s customer based sunny personality is a credit to this office. The entire staff is very kind. Dr. Doris is a very caring person as well and genuinely cares about the practice. Dr. Whatley and Olivia performed my root canal and there friendly gentle banter made the procedure go by so quickly. Dr. Whatley is calm, knowledgeable, and gentle. Olivia was fantastic and made me feel relaxed before and after the procedure. This is a great office with a very kind and caring staff. Thank you ladies! 🙏

5 STARS!! The staff is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is beautiful and well maintained and Dr. Whatley is the best ever in the world! She was my last hope to get a re-treat on a root canal for a very anxious 8 year old. My child was terrified of the shot to numb her mouth for the procedure. Dr. Whatley gave her something to relax her but when she came in my daughter woke up and Dr. Whatley was a pro! She talked to my daughter then administered the shot so fast my daughter didn’t even have time to cry or fight or anything!! While she was getting the shot she said “I’m doing it!” I would recommend Dr. Whatley and her staff to everyone! Best experience ever!

I had a root canal performed by Dr Whatley and had a very good experience. Everybody in the office was very nice and informative. The office was very clean and nice as well. The actually root canal procedure itself did not hurt at all, neither did the numbing injections. I hope to never have to get another root canal but if I do it will be here.

Dr. Whatley is professional and kind. The building is extremely clean and homey. Her staff are well trained and friendly. I highly recommend her services. Thank you Dr. Whatley for a great first root canal experience!

I had my first root canal and was pleasantly surprised! It was nothing like I thought it would be. I was a little nervous but the staff was very nice. Dr. Whatley was fantastic! I especially liked how each time she would tell me what she was going to do before she did it so that put me at ease. Will definitely go back for the next root canal!

I got root canal two times by Dr. Whatley. First one was covered by my dental insurance. When I visited the office for my second root canal, I found that my new insurance did not cover it, so I went a different dentist. But then, I immediately went back to Dr. Whatley because I could not trust the new doctor. I believed that paying more than $1000 to Dr. Whatley was worth spending because I trusted her expertise. She is a very good doctor I totally trust. After I moved to Chicago I did root canal for third one last year, then I immediately missed her because the doctor in Chicago was not as good as her.

Even though root canals are not ideal for anyone, I had a wonderful experience at Whatley Endodontics. I was in a tremendous amount of pain needing a root canal in a tooth with a vertical crack and they saw me quickly, took care of me and made sure my pain level was addressed so that I was comfortable. Staff and Dr. were friendly and skilled. Definitely would go back in the future for endodontic work.

My experience with Whatley was outstanding. I had a root canal and only had pain overnight. By the next evening I was on Tylenol for a slight headache and I'm very appreciative of the expert care. She will be my first choice for any additional care!

Dr Whatley the Endodontic and her Specialists are a dynamic team in their career field. I was there for a root canal and they knew I was nervous and they kept me calm throughout the process. Dr. Whatley ensured I was numb completely and explained everything thoroughly and I did not feel none of the pain during the process of the procedure. It was performed a little over an hour and as the numbness was wearing off I wasn't in as much pain as I thought I would be. I would definitely recommend coming here if you need a root canal and her assistant was able to explain the details of the tooth as well. Great Job! Thanks again..

Just completed my root canal REtreat here, previous root canal was NOT preformed here. The first thing i want to say is how amazing the staff is, i visited twice before my two retreat appointments and all four visits were so pleasant. The front desks ladies were extremely nice and professional also the office is very nice looking. Whatley herself is also amazing, friendly and answers questions. My retreat was very smooth and they made sure i was comfortable, i really appreciate that. Great place, great experiences and great staff. I highly recommend.

I was referred by my dentist to see Dr. Whatley because I was in extreme pain. He assured me that she would find out what was going on. I was able to get in to see her the same day and let me tell you her skills are on point. Everyone I came in contact with were very nice and professional. Although she is out of network for my insurance, they filed it for me so that I could be reimbursed. Dr Whatley explained the procedure thoroughly and gave me my options? which let me decide what her next move will be. I hope I never have to see her again😆. If I need her services I would not hesitate to call her.

Referred by my dentist. Dr. Whatley and staff are incredibly nice and kind. The root canal itself didn't take much time. Very clean facility. I've never had a root canal and it's probably common, but nitrous oxide ("laughing gas") does cost extra. Recommend Dr. Whatley for root canals.

Had to get a root canal done earlier this year and was dreading the experience because of previous work at other dental offices but they helped ease my nerves and I felt nothing. They provided me with gas and made sure I felt nothing through the entire process. I became so relaxed while they worked that I almost fell asleep during a root canal. 10/10 Will go again for any endodontics work I need done.

I urgently needed an endodontic evaluation. Dr Whatley was gracious enough to see me on short notice at end of day and after a thorough examination took time to explain my needs exactly and in detail. She answered all my questions with patience. Dr. Whatley is competent, caring and professional.
The staff is the most helpful and friendly as well. Cristy, especially, went above and beyond to make numerous calls to arrange appointments to oral surgeons for me.
This has to be the best endodotic office in North Alabama.

I'm one of those people that hate going to the dentist, not because I'm afraid of pain or anything but I've had a bunch of dentists that didn't do my teeth right, bad root canals etc. This endo expert Dr. Whatley fixed a couple of my teeth like no dentist I've been to, also about 1/2 the time I had it done in the past, she's definitely at the top of her field. They are not cheap, but going there is like going to Porsche, it's a much higher level of product/service. BTW, think she got annoyed at me when I winced a bunch. It wasn't really painful, but more like a nerve shock or electrical jolt that was deep in my head/chest, it was an old root canal after all. Couldn't help it. But I didn't try to explain that to her because likely she's never had a root canal herself. Anyway, great dentist. By the way, abscesses, bad root canals, or other problems can create (bacteria) that can actually impact your heart and shorten your life significantly. Ask any Dentist, they'll tell you. Let your body save your white blood cells and antibodies to fight things besides tooth decay. PSA.

My root canal was more enjoyable than some meetings I have to attend. Dr. Whatley and her staff were excellent, both on getting an estimate and on the day of the procedure. Highly recommend.

Dr. Wheatley and staff are very nice and attentive. The root canal I needed was causing me much discomfort and Wheatley Endodontics took me in straight away. As I said they were very nice and relaxed but very professional. There is even a t.v. on the ceiling to watch while my procedure was underway. I highly recommend them as I was good as new the next day

This office is exemplary. The staff was friendly and inviting. They are so professional. They even went the extra mile by confirming a very close estimate for my root canal being that I had already had previous dental work perform. Another local office that was preferred by my insurance company had a highly inflated price which lead me to Whatley. Whatley was even willing to send me a copy of their coding to confirm the integrity of their prices to compare with my dental benefits. If you must use an out of network provider, you will not be disappointed with Whatley's spirit of excellence.
