As a working mom with busy kids, having a car is a must. When my car died and I needed a new one, Dan and his team at Budget made the process so easy. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They made sure my needs were met. They truly went above and beyond. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would recommend Dan and his team at Budget to all!

We worked remotely with Dan Callahan on a vehicle purchase, from 700 miles away. The vehicle was priced accurately and the photos excellent. Despite the distance, Dan managed the process extremely effectively and handled our numerous questions and clarifications efficiently and cordially. We had some asks that he negotiated fairly and honestly with us. Checkout was astonishingly quick and we were on the road much shorter than we expected. He has a trustworthy team.

My husband and I found or vehicle while searching on auto trader. I instantly knew it was the one I wanted. Not only was it a great vehicle but the price was lower than any others.I contacted Dan Callahan to see if it was still available and scheduled an appointment to see it. We live in Wisconsin so we had a 170 mile drive. SO worth it. Dan was so easy to work with and quickly gave us an awesome trade in value for our car. Because we were from out of state we couldn't get financing so he let us take the vehicle and sent him a check once financing was set back home. I will definitely mention Budget Of Cedar Rapids to anyone who is looking for a vehicle.

Bryan and crew spent ALL DAY detailing my Honda Cr-V…let me tell you…as someone who pays attention to the details, they freaking DETAILED! The car looks better than when I bought it, 5 years ago! They even recommended ways to upkeep the cloth seats with my kids in the back and let me know when it dries, if there are any spots to bring it back and they’ll touch them up. I was quoted a way steeper amount for the oxidized headlights (which is a huge hazard at night) and they were less expensive and looked brand new when I picked up my car.

We had a great experience buying our car from Budget of Cedar Rapids. The paint and interior are in near new condition. We noticed a minor mechanical issue when test driving and Dan made sure it was fixed before we were ready to take it home and that we were happy with it. George was a great no pressure salesman and Dan made the financing and paperwork quick and easy. And they gave us more than we were hoping for our trade-in, which really helped! We will definitely be back when we are ready to buy another car.

I ended up purchasing a 2024 nissan sentra from Budget and the cars are priced fairly and Dan was really nice, easy to work with, and didnt try to pull any shady stuff like a lot of car dealerships do. After a month the car still runs perfectly and I'm very happy with my purchase!

Recently bought my first car on my own from here after being referred to them by my dad since he had mentioned that he always had good luck with affordable, newer cars that have been well-maintained here. I was not disappointed - was able to test drive the car and have my mechanic do a once over with no issue from staff! A pressure-free environment with incredibly friendly staff. JoAnn especially was helpful when it came time to sign papers and what not. She was more than patient and willing to answer my numerous questions. Needless to say, I will be back in the future for sure!

It was great working with Dan and team. They were super helpful when we need to replace our vehicles quickly. Great selection to pick from and vehicles were in great shape. The team made it so easy for us.

My husband and I have purchased 2 vans from them and have been very pleased with our purchases.
But I have to give a shout out to their detailing department. I had a car wash put scratches in my vehicle. I brought it in to Budget, got an estimate, and had the work done. It looks brand new. Thank you so much Brian, it looks amazing!

I decided to my 2015 F150 to the detail shop here at Budget of Cedar Rapids. They were very much recommend by a multitude of people. Needless to say the truck which I did buy brand new in 2015 looks absolutely amazing! It looks brand new actually. They touched up all the paint chips, shampooed the interior, detailed the engine bay and added a ceramic coating to the entire exterior. The truck is stunning!

5 stars is an under statement! Definitely worth the 4 hour drive. By far the best car buying experience I’ve had by a long shot. Dan did everything he could to get us the best deal possible. Definitely will be back when it comes time for another vehicle!

We purchased a 2021 Volvo XC60 from Dan in 2022. We have had service done at a "local Volvo dealership", and during a recent service visit, the service department recommended new rear brake pads to the tune of $295. They also recommended new tires totaling $1100. I questioned this, called Dan to see if "his guys good take a look at pads and tires and provide opinion". Brian and Jordan both took a look at pads and tires, agreed that they did need to be replaced, but said cost was "way out of line". They recommended a local "tire/repair" shop to provide quote etc. Low and behold, the cost for the brake pads was $130 less, and the cost of the tires was nearly $600 less (I realize the quality of the tires comparison may impact cost, but still, $600 less??!!). I would recommend Dan and his quality team for car purchases, services questions etc. to anyone who asks!!

It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience trading my 2020 Lexus GX460 for the 2021 BMW X4 M40i that I purchased from Dan. Not once did I ever feel pressured or rushed to make a decision about my purchase. When I showed up to pick up the BMW, it was spotless inside and out. Dan did a great job of reviewing all the features of the new vehicle for me before I left with it. Overall I’m very pleased with my experience and purchase.

Found just the right car at a very good price. After sales experience (extra key and minor dent repair) was excellent. Very pleased with all aspects of the sale and follow up.

First, they DONATED a $1,500+ Ceramic Coating and detail package to the American Heart Association for the Heart Ball fundraiser in Cedar Rapids. That should say enough. I was the lucky one to buy it in the auction and was not disappointed. I have had my cars detailed there a few times over the years and have purchased several more detail package gift certificates for family Christmas gifts. They are fast, professional and do a fantastic job detailing. I recommend this best kept secret in CR!

I just had my Tesla X detailed at Budget CR a few days ago & it is the cleanest vehicle I've ever had returned to me after a detail! I keep my cars clean & cannot stand a messy vehicle, but I was blown away when I picked it up. I drove around afterwards just to enjoy it & the lovely clean smell. There is nothing I would have changed about my experience beginning to end & will not bring my car anywhere else :) Thanks Budget!
